"My daughter is jealous. Come here, Daddy will give you two kisses too." Jiang Changhai bent down and kissed Jiang Mianmian twice.
Su Wanyu watched the playful father and daughter, boasting slightly, "Brother Hai, do you think my outfit looks nice?"
"It looks great, really great, better than the cover girls on those magazines," Jiang Changhai nodded repeatedly, sweet-talking her.
"This was specially designed for me by our Mianmian," Su Wanyu said proudly.
"Our Mianmian is truly talented; she’s designed such beautiful clothes. Hmm, wait a minute, Mianmian, you designed clothes for your mom; did you design anything for me?" Jiang Changhai asked with a feigned complaint.
Jiang Mianmian’s eyes twinkled as she confidently said, "Dad, of course, I designed something for you too. I have the designs all in my mind. I’ll take your measurements in a bit, and I’ll draw it out tomorrow."
"Haha, okay, I was just teasing you. Dad has enough clothes and doesn’t need any designs." Watching his daughter play smart in front of him, he kissed her fondly and affectionately once more.
Jiang Changhai really didn’t want Jiang Mianmian to overwork herself. With school starting soon, he wanted his daughter to relax for a couple of days; he was just teasing her earlier.

"Is that so? Do you want Mianmian and me to go back with you?" Su Wanyu asked.
"No need. I’ll just deliver the money and come back. It’s terribly hot these days, no need for you two to trouble yourselves," Jiang Changhai said kindly.
The next day, after eating breakfast, Jiang Changhai borrowed a bicycle from Aunt Li and then headed back to Stone Bridge Village.
Pushing the bike along, he chatted with the villagers and arrived at the Jiang Family’s home. Jiang Changhe and Jiang Changtao, seeing him return, greeted him with faces full of happiness.
