Jiang Changhai glanced at Sun Lixia and didn’t give an inch, “I bought this for my daughter. If your son wants to drink, go buy it yourself.”
“Mom, look at how Eldest Brother is talking. Zhiwen and Zhiwu are his own nephews, and he grudges even a bowl of milk essence,” Sun Lixia pointed at Jiang Changhai and complained to her mother-in-law.
“Eldest, how can you act like an uncle? If the kids want to drink, just mix up two bowls for them,” Zhang Guihua also thought her eldest son was being too unreasonable, as it wouldn’t cost much to make two separate bowls for the children.
However, Jiang Changhai was unmoved, “Mom, I am their uncle, not their biological father. If they want to drink, let their biological fathers buy it for them.”
“Fine, fine, you don’t give it to your own nephews, then what if your biological mother wants to drink, will you give it to her?” Zhang Guihua wasn’t stupid and quickly changed her approach.
Jiang Changhai laughed upon hearing his mother’s words, “Mom, just listen to what you’re saying. Not to mention wanting to drink milk essence, even if you wanted to drink my blood, I, as your son, would certainly let you have it.”
As he spoke, he handed over the bowl in his right hand to Zhang Guihua, “Here, Mom, this bowl’s for you. Drink it while it’s hot; it won’t taste good once it cools down.”
Listening to her son’s words, Zhang Guihua wasn’t as angry as before. She pointed at the table, “Just put it there, I’ll drink it later.”
Jiang Changhai knew all too well what his mother was up to and shook his head earnestly, “Mom, that won’t do. I will watch you drink it. If I walk away and you give it to someone else, wouldn’t that waste my filial piety?”
“You annoying thing, get lost, get lost, get lost!” Zhang Guihua couldn’t handle her obstinate son,
Even though Jiang Changhai was scolded, he didn’t get angry, instead he said with a smile, “Mom, don’t be angry, I’m going.”

Jiang Changtao saw Sun Lixia come back fuming and asked in confusion, “Weren’t you going to call Zhiwen and Zhiwu? How come you’re back by yourself?”
Sun Lixia exaggerated the story whilst retelling it to her own man, and Jiang Changtao’s face darkened after hearing it.
“Tell Zhiwen and Zhiwu later to keep their distance from Eldest; we don’t need to warm our faces against his cold backside,” Jiang Changtao said somberly.
“I get it. Let Eldest keep doting on San Ya, that girl; I want to see what good comes out of it! If San Ya grows up and runs off with some wild man just like her aunt did, I’d like to see where he can cry! By then, let’s hope he doesn’t come begging my sons to provide for his old age,” Sun Lixia said maliciously.
Upon hearing this, Jiang Changtao abruptly stood up and reprimanded her, “How many times have I told you not to bring up Changmei’s affair!”
If their mother heard, she would definitely get upset again, and their father would start scolding people.
