Xia Chuyi looked at Mother Xia with cold eyes. Really not wanting to deal with her, she turned around to avoid her and left the room.
Then, Xia Lan saw her and immediately followed her out of the room, even catching up to try and grab her hand.
Xia Lan, with a forced smile, said to Xia Chuyi, "Ay! Chuyi, it’s been such a long time since we sisters have seen each other, let’s go somewhere and have a talk!"
Saying this, she tried to pull her farther away.
Xia Chuyi was taken aback by Xia Lan’s sudden action and failed to avoid it on time, allowing Xia Lan to grab her firmly.

Xia Chuyi’s words ignited a rage in Xia Lan’s eyes.
However, Xia Lan didn’t dare to lose her temper.
"Bite her!" Suddenly, Xia Ming came over holding Uncle Quan and also joined in.
Xia Ming tried to order Uncle Quan to bite Xia Lan.
But Uncle Quan, after glancing at Xia Lan, seemed uninterested.
The same two words simultaneously flashed in the minds of both Xia Chuyi and Xia Ming.
Clearly, this was Uncle Quan’s impression upon seeing Xia Lan.
Xia Ming was somewhat conflicted for a moment.
Xia Chuyi, on the other hand, found it rather peculiar, thinking: Uncle Quan really is rare, reacting to and judging outsiders like that.
But Xia Chuyi didn’t delve deeper and simply said directly to Xia Lan, "Aren’t you here to pay a New Year visit? Then go on in yourself, I have other things to do, I’m leaving now."
With that attitude, it was clear she had no desire to deal with Xia Lan.
However, Xia Lan plastered herself against Xia Chuyi once more, with a grin, said, "Chuyi, they say a smile can settle all scores."
"That scumbag He Qing, I’ve already divorced him. Let’s just wipe the slate clean of past events."
"After all, we each have our own beautiful lives."
"You run your private restaurant, and I will seek out a beautiful marriage."
