Just after Xia Chuyi left, a staff member led a young man and woman to Professor Bao's place.
"Mr. Jackson, Miss Annie, this is Professor Bao's residence," the staff member said, pointing to the house where Professor Bao lived.
Annie looked at the residence from left to right for a good while before nodding her head.
It was a barely sufficient sign of approval for Professor Bao's living situation.
