A spark flashed in Xia Chuyi’s eyes.
She pounced swiftly, grabbing the letter, and the moment she touched it, she yanked it forcefully, simultaneously using her thoughts to swiftly tuck the letter into her space.
“The letter!” Xia Lan hadn’t even had time to see how the letter had vanished.
Xia Chuyi pretended to turn around, miming an action of hiding the letter.
“You!” Xia Lan lunged to snatch it but was dodged by Xia Chuyi, who then countered by grabbing her arm and throwing her to the ground.
Xia Lan fell face-first into the mud, raising her head with her hair disheveled and her face smeared with mud.
“Xia Chuyi, did you just deceive me?” Xia Lan glared at her hatefully.

Her tone gradually turned icy, thick with warning.
