Before she could step out of the villa area, two stray cats leaped over the bushes, and the management staff was in the process of shooing them away.

Caught off guard by the question, Zhang Rongqing hesitated for a moment. “Her?”
“Hou Xiaoai pursued Lin Zhaonan but couldn’t win his affection. She instigated her companions to harm Jiang Tongtong.” Lin Gantang’s voice turned icy, carrying a hint of warning. “They’re currently at the police station and have confessed. Zhang Rongqing, I’m sure you don’t want to join them, do you?”
“I…” Zhang Rongqing felt like a bucket of cold water had been poured over her. Her once arrogant demeanor gradually waned. “I don’t want to do anything that would harm them…”
