"What do you think?"
Lou Xi’s words eased the tense atmosphere. She pushed Qin Mobai away and turned on the room’s lights.
Lou Xi moved her gaze back to Qin Mobai’s face. She looked at him and asked, "Nothing happened, right?"
"What do you think should have happened?" Qin Mobai’s body gradually cooled down, but his eyes still wandered over Lou Xi.
"I thought—I thought!" But now Qin Mobai was telling her they didn’t do anything that night!
The gap and sense of deception made Lou Xi feel like something was stuck there uncomfortably.
"What do you think we haven’t done yet?" Qin Mobai said lightly, noticing the change in Lou Xi’s emotions, as if things didn’t turn out the way he envisioned.
"But you never answered directly, did you?"

"I think you’re being irrational right now. Come to me once you’ve sorted things out." Qin Mobai got up from the bed and shut the door heavily.
What did Qin Mobai mean by that? Did he really think she was wrong?
