One class session ended, all the students except Lou Xi listened attentively. Fortunately, it seemed he hadn’t noticed anything unusual! Good!
In the blink of an eye, it was time for class to end. Qin Mobai turned off the projector and looked around the entire classroom, then said lightly, "The professor just told me that we need a class representative for this course. Who’s interested?"
The classroom was abuzz with excitement. Being the class representative would mean close contact with the exchange student Young Master Qin! Who wouldn’t want such a great opportunity?

The female classmates sitting at their desks eagerly awaited Qin Mobai to call out their names from the list.
Qin Mobai looked at the names on the A4 paper, but it was unclear on which name his gaze landed.
Sitting in the third-to-last row, Lou Xi only wanted to leave quickly. Haven’t there been enough troubling things in the past few days?
The girlfriend just got snatched by a dormmate, and last night she ran into this man while being tipsy!

"Lou Xi."
A steady voice called Lou Xi’s name.
"Here—" She reflexively thought it was roll call, and instinctively raised her hand and responded.
The classroom was silent for two seconds, then erupted in thunderous laughter!

When she cast her gaze onto the man on the podium, she met his deep eyes. Though there was no hint of a smile in his eyes, why did it feel like he was laughing at her?
"Come to the office with me after class to see the professor." His clear voice pierced through the classroom and directly reached the deepest part of Lou Xi’s eardrums.
"Can I refuse?" she muttered quietly.
"Hmm?" Suddenly, Qin Mobai’s sharp gaze swept over, startling Lou Xi into a shiver.
"No, no, no, I’ll go, I’ll go!" Lou Xi sat down, resigned to her fate, looking utterly despondent.
However, all the girls in class, including Bai Lu, were looking at her with envious eyes.
What are they envying exactly!
Lou Xi lowered her head. If she didn’t think Bai Lu would faint from shock knowing what happened between her and Qin Mobai yesterday, she would’ve told her.
As soon as the bell rang, Lou Xi immediately dragged Bai Lu and slipped out through the back door, running for quite some time, panting heavily.
"Xixi, Young Master Qin asked you to go with him to see the professor!" Bai Lu looked bewildered.
Lou Xi, catching her breath, "He asks me to go, so I just go? Wouldn’t that be too embarrassing for me?"
"But he must have something important!"
"Then I’ll let you be the class representative, and you go to his office!"
Bai Lu shook her head immediately, "Although Young Master Qin is handsome, he doesn’t seem easy to get along with at all."

Qin Mobai sat in the chair, looking at the watch in his hand, as time slowly passed, but no one came.
He took out his wallet; usually, he wouldn’t put money in his wallet, only a few cards, but now, there were a few RMB bills quietly lying there.
The office light cast on his chiseled face, highlighting its sharp contours.
