Bai Lu had never heard Lou Xi mention Rong Zhi before, but knowing their relationship was special, she took her tray and said, "Xixi, I’ll eat over there. You guys take your time to chat."
"Thanks," Rong Zhi replied flatly, not even glancing at Bai Lu.
At noon, the fast-food restaurant was crowded, not the best place for a conversation.
But it had to be said.
"Lou Xi, tell me, are you facing any difficulties? Let me know if you have any problems." He needed to be told before deciding whether to inform Lou Xi’s parents.
"Really, it’s nothing..."
"Alright, then I’ll just..."
"I don’t want to stay in the dorm, so I’m looking for a place. Don’t tell my parents." Lou Xi interrupted, "I had a conflict with my roommates and can’t find an empty dorm to switch. You know about my parents... just please don’t tell them."
Upon hearing this, Rong Zhi put away his phone.
He knew Lou Xi was adopted by her parents and usually didn’t want to trouble them with her issues.

Lou Xi pointed to the female colleague who was waiting alone, feeling somewhat inadequate, always thinking she wasn’t worthy of standing next to someone as mature and steady as Rong Zhi.
