Granny introduced with a smile, "Yes, she’s my only daughter."

"Mom, who is this young lady?"
Lucy quickly stood up to greet her, "Hello Auntie, my name is Lucy Eaton."
Liora Hughes stared at her face for a few seconds before smiling, "Hello."
"She’s my guest. Why did you come?"
"I bought a fish to make soup for you."
"Put it in the kitchen."
Liora Hughes carried the bag into the kitchen.
After putting the fish away, she came out and joined them at the pavilion.
"This table full of dishes is certainly Mom’s handiwork."
"Of course." Granny asked, "Have you eaten?"
Liora Hughes turned her gaze back to Lucy’s face, "Miss Eaton, what do you do?"
"I’m a neurosurgeon at the People’s Hospital."
Liora Hughes quickly looked at her mother, "Mom, are you feeling unwell?"
"No, don’t worry unnecessarily," Granny said with a smile, "I didn’t meet Lucy at a hospital."
"Really? You startled me."
"Lucy, keep eating, the food will get cold." Granny urged.
"Liora, since you’re here, I don’t need to call you. Next Saturday you should come with me to the Grand Saint Temple to burn incense. Lucy, are you free that day? If you are, please join us."
"Sure," Though I’m working that day, I can take a leave.
