After Transmigrating into a Novel with My Boyfriend, He Turned Out to Be a Native Villain Chapter 388

The servants nearby saw the blood on the floor but hesitated to approach, especially given the rumors surrounding this young master. They stood frozen in place until a hoarse voice came from the sofa: "Bring the first aid kit."

Relieved, they inwardly remarked that Young Master Bo wasn’t as terrifying as the rumors made him out to be.

A young maid placed the kit on the table, her cheeks flushing slightly as she got a closer look at his coldly handsome face, catching a whiff of his rich pine-like scent. She softly asked, "Young Master, the wound on your palm looks tricky. Would you like me to help?"

Without even glancing up, Bo Jingmo took out cotton swabs and bandages himself. "No need."

The maid persisted, reaching out, "Please let me—"

Just as her hand was about to touch his, an icy voice cut through the air: "I said no. Are you deaf?"

Her face paled as she looked up and met his faintly glowing red eyes. Stumbling back, she stammered, "S-Sorry, Young Master..."

Human eyes couldn’t glow red!

Bo Jingmo remained silent, his gaze dropping back to the bandage on his palm. The shadows cast over him gave him an almost serene, compassionate aura—like a statue illuminated by temple lanterns—making it impossible to tell if he was truly angry.

He rubbed the blood between his fingertips before wiping it away with a tissue, his voice cool and detached. "Has Grandfather returned yet?"

Before the servant could answer, footsteps echoed from the entrance, accompanied by Bai Shaodong’s suppressed irritation. "Dad, I already told you, I’ll handle the project. Don’t worry about it."

The door swung open as Old Master Bo scoffed. "Bai Shaodong, you’ve grown too comfortable overseas. If I’d known this would happen, I never would’ve let you back into the company!"

Bo Jingmo tossed the tissue into the trash and lazily lifted his eyes, locking gazes with Bai Shaodong the moment he stepped inside.

Their eyes met—and Bai Shaodong’s expression twisted with fury. "Bo Jingmo! So it was you who brought Father here instead of coming to me yourself! I bet you’re the one who told him about the company too!"

Old Master Bo snapped, "This has nothing to do with Jingmo! I called him here myself. Did you really think I needed him to tell me about your mess? The board already informed me!"

He added coldly, "For the next few days, Jingmo will handle company affairs. You—get your ass back home."

Bai Shaodong’s pupils shrank. What was this supposed to mean?

His glare returned to Bo Jingmo, teeth grinding at the man’s calm indifference. "Dad, are you seriously handing power to this monster? He can’t even control his own emotions—how is he fit to run the company?!"

Spotting the blood still on the floor, he seized the opportunity. "Look! His condition isn’t even stable. If outsiders see this, it’ll humiliate the Bo family!"

Old Master Bo frowned at the blood and turned to the servants. "What happened here?"

Noticing the reddened eyes of one maid, his frown deepened.

The older servant quickly shook her head. "It’s nothing, sir. The young master just accidentally cut his palm."

The younger one muttered under her breath, "But I saw his eyes..."

Bai Shaodong caught the whisper and smirked inwardly.

Still pretending, huh? As if I don’t know what triggers your episodes.

He strode forward, looming over Bo Jingmo before bending down with a taunting whisper. "Jingmo, your little girlfriend’s doing well in the dungeon, isn’t she? Pity she might not last against a few high-level players. You might be unkillable, but she’s not."

Not satisfied, he let out a derisive chuckle. "I know you’re aware of Deva now. And you should know—my authority far surpasses yours. Separating you two in the dungeon? Child’s play."

Bo Jingmo was silent for a long moment before suddenly laughing softly.

He traced the wound on his palm, then lifted his head with a lazy smile. "Bai Shaodong, you’ve invested quite a bit in Deva over the years, haven’t you? Did you really think routing funds overseas would keep it hidden?"

Bai Shaodong’s face stiffened.

How the hell did he know?

Bo Jingmo picked up a file and handed it to Old Master Bo. "Grandfather, you might find these documents interesting. As for Dax, I’ve already contacted him. He’s agreed to our partnership. For the overseas branch, I’ve also found a suitable replacement manager."

Standing, he adjusted his sleeves. "I have other matters to attend to, so I’ll take my leave."

Bai Shaodong grabbed his arm, livid. "Bo Jingmo, when did you contact Dax?"

The man merely shook him off, lips curving in a distant smirk. "I simply realized Father is no longer fit for the company."

Mimicking Bai Shaodong’s earlier tone, he leaned in and murmured, "I heard you want the Black Moon?"

Bai Shaodong’s breath hitched as he jerked his head up—

Only to meet a pair of glacial, depthless eyes.

Bo Jingmo’s voice was lethally soft.

"I told you to stay away from my girlfriend."

With that, he turned and walked out.

Bai Shaodong opened his mouth to shout after him—

A stack of documents slammed into his back, followed by Old Master Bo’s barely contained roar.

"Bai. Shao. Dong! Explain this embezzlement! What the hell have you been doing overseas all these years?!"

Stunned, he looked down at the papers—then gritted his teeth hard.

Damn it. How did Bo Jingmo uncover all this?

Stay away from your girlfriend? Hah.

Let’s see just how capable this little girl really is.
