Its legs were amputated, but there were other deformities already present on its body. Chen Xing furrowed his brow, shocked by such a product of research. “It seems my expectations for the breeding nest weren’t that high after all,” he muttered quietly.
Gong Yilan casually tore open a wrapper and stuffed a lollipop into her mouth, glancing at Chen Xing, “So, you really were planning to fight for the breeding nest? Just find some laboratory monsters to practice on.”
Speaking seriously, she added, “Your mentor didn’t ask you to compete for it either, that’s something on a different level, we might as well not even think about intervening.”
She pointed to the ground, “Causing such a negative impact, and still near the city area, who do you think could snatch the breeding nest now aside from Great Xia?”

Countless monsters poured out of the huge hole revealed by the collapsing reservoir.

However, others, stimulated by the situation, launched attacks on humans.
A large gorilla with a massive left arm and a disproportionately slender right arm roared skyward,

The smell of blood incited the other monsters, and they swarmed toward the humans en masse.
The slower people were directly knocked down by the monsters, some even bitten savagely.

A dark shape suddenly darted from the side of the road.
The van continued forward.
Suddenly, a dog-like creature darted from the side of the road and collided directly with the front bumper of the van.
The van shook a few times, the creature was thrown several meters away, twirling on the ground before standing and running off.
Li Xi gasped for air, unbuckling his seatbelt, “Honey, I’ll go check things out, you drive ahead.”

Without delay, he extended his hand and summoned an Array of Light on the ground, “Frog of Devouring, come forth!”
With muscles bulging and purple veins emerging, the huge Frog of Devouring was summoned.
Its powerful legs kicked against the ground, it leapt into the air, and then landed heavily on top of a creature a few meters away. The creature was repelled several meters.
“Thank goodness… these monsters are not very strong.”
Li Xi noticed many of the monsters looked fearsome, but their Energy Levels were not very high.
His Frog of Devouring… could just manage, as long as he wasn’t overwhelmed by them.
Just then, a red snake crept quietly near Li Xi.
Suddenly, a beam of golden light shot down from the sky, instantly vaporizing the snake’s head.
Li Xi jumped in fright, turned and realized the snake that had discreetly approached him was already dead.
He heard urgent braking sounds behind him and turned to see a sports car stopping.,
He turned and saw a man and a woman getting out of the car.
“Boss, long time no see.” Chen Xing smiled, greeting the pond owner he had met once before.
“Is it… you?” At first, Li Xi did not recognize Chen Xing, but upon hearing his greeting, he suddenly realized who it was.
He stared at the luxurious car Chen Xing and others were in, thinking internally: True rich people, that sports car must cost millions. Normally, the wealthy invest in cultivating Beasts, and those who purchase these useless luxuries are few—the truly rich.
“There are too many monsters here, we’ll talk later.”
