They passed through the layers of mist beneath the cliff. All around was a vast, disorienting whiteness, like being adrift in a sea of fog, but Su Bei paid it no mind.
Their bodies rose higher and higher!
Until they finally broke through the sea of clouds.
Snowflakes drifted down from the heavens, landing on them both, blanketing Su Bei’s hair in white.
Countless stars twinkled in the vast expanse above.
The stars had always been there.
