Regarding the update of "Heart of Canaan", it’s not that I don’t want to update it, I’m really stuck. Every night, I stay up writing four or five hundred words, but I’m never satisfied with it. If the words can’t even move me, how can they move the readers? If it were filled with padding, even I would feel heartbroken reading it. Sometimes I really want to write simple stories, effortlessly writing ten thousand words a day. Unlike now, where even in my dreams, I’m writing novels, and then waking up to continue writing. Like most authors on Qidian, I carefully type out each word, letting it flow from the keyboard. "Heart of Canaan" is like my own child, how could I let it die prematurely? We’ve come through so many days and nights together. But if I can’t write it, I just can’t write it, so please let me take a break. I’ll update "Amber Sword" first, and then come back. Maybe I’ll regain my old passion, and "Canaan" can continue updating.
Even though my hands and feet are cold, seeing the Monthly Tickets soar, my heart pounding on the keyboard is fiery. With you guys, I’m not alone! My heart is warm. Recently, I’ve been staying in my little nest writing, updating two hundred and eighty thousand words in a month. Ordering takeout when I’m hungry, I’ve barely seen the sunlight lately. But as long as I can still write, as long as my brain isn’t rusted and my muscles aren’t padded with water, I will persist. I will do my utmost best because I have you, remaining together through thick and thin! Let’s create glory together again!
I don’t want to go three months without tasting meat--! Let watered-down pork go to hell!
