He gave this order but immediately felt he might have been too hasty. Brand almost wanted to call them back immediately. However, after some thought, he decided against it. Having a backup plan couldn't hurt, and it wouldn't make much difference whether they were there or not.
In the 'Amber Sword,' a person of his level having twelve Black Iron Lower strength warriors at his command would be pretty satisfying. But in this cold, unfeeling real world, there was now a third-level power swordsman seemingly set on giving him trouble. This made him rather uneasy.

Brand figured the opponent was an uncommon thin sword user, likely following the dexterity route of elven swordsmanship. With such abilities, the opponent's straight-line running speed could reach over seven hundred kilometers per hour, more than double the top speed of a Formula 1 car and nearing the speed of the first-generation jet fighters.
