But she was more concerned, watching Brand's hand. The young man's hand was covered in blood, an injury he had sustained earlier during his fight with the Thorny Chain Lord. Miss Merchant felt a twinge of sympathy and wanted to help Bandage his wound, but the young man wouldn't let her touch him at all.
The Thorny Chain Lord's iron thorn spikes were poisonous. Brand understood that with his high constitution, he could resist the poison, but Little Roman was different; he didn't want to accidentally afflict this Merchant Lady with the 'Sickly' attribute.

On the other side, the white-haired youth quickly turned his head back, blood at the corner of his mouth, glaring at Brand with a fierce look. Brand glared back at him. The recent fight had caught both sides' attention, and there was already chaos not far off in the forest. Had he not acted quickly, they would have already been trapped and unable to escape.
But even now, they were not necessarily safe.
That's why Brand was so displeased.
"Your enemies are not us, if you don't want to die, don't move." He looked at the guy and coldly replied.
Redi gritted his teeth, finally realizing that Brand's group couldn't possibly be part of the forest dwellers. Though deeply resentful, he realized that this bastard had punched him and then explained—it was clearly a punishment.
Even so, he still thought that Brand was just scaremongering. While others might be uneasy about possibly fighting the 'Paper Card' Mercenary Group, he knew some insider information—the 'Grey Wolf' Mercenary Group was more than just a mercenary group. He wasn't the least bit worried.
He hadn't expected those bastards would dare to make the first move.
Redi scoffed inwardly, thinking this hillbilly was making a fuss over nothing. With this in mind, he looked at Brand with a dismissive gaze.
Brand looked at another person and then was taken aback, as it turned out to be a girl.
She had her eyes closed, her long black hair framing a face that appeared somewhat pale under the moonlight; but what startled Brand was that, even in such a situation, the girl didn't seem panicked at all.
