After a few more exchanges, Allen Zhang ended the conversation.

Sieg: What kind of escort task? Is there any risk?
Allen Zhang sent detailed information to Sieg: The mission pays 45,000 US Dollars. Don’t worry, it’s just about escorting a batch of sniper rifles, ammunition, and private letters, there won’t be much risk.

Allen Zhang put away his phone, dressed properly, washed up, and headed downstairs.
Rena had already prepared breakfast, and when she saw Allen Zhang coming downstairs, she greeted him, "Dear, you’re awake? Hurry over to eat; the shelter will be open for business soon. After eating, go ahead and take care of your work."
"Ok." Allen Zhang did not decline and sat down at the table to enjoy breakfast with Rena.
Eating silently and quickly finishing the meal, Allen Zhang wanted to help Rena clean up, but she refused, so he simply gave her a warm kiss and hug, greeted her, and walked out of the shelter.
Allen Zhang messaged Melvin from the car to ask for his current location and then drove to pick him up, taking him to the suburbs ranch to collect an old friend’s inheritance.
Melvin got in the car, buckled his seatbelt, and Allen Zhang promptly started the car again, leaving the urban area behind, heading for the ranch on the 426 Highway in the suburbs.
After driving for dozens of minutes, they arrived at a relatively remote ranch. They parked the Jeep by the roadside, and seeing the barbed wire and fence with high voltage electric signs, Allen Zhang couldn’t help but exclaim, "No wonder nobody comes here usually; the security measures are so good that if someone died here, their rotting body would go undiscovered for a long time."
"Boss, what are we doing here? We’re not going to try to take away their cows, are we?" Melvin was puzzled.
"If I wanted to buy cows, would I need to sneak around? It’s not like I can’t afford them. There’s no need to buy them, believe it or not, a dozen cows will end up coming to us on their own."
Allen Zhang locked the doors and windows of the Jeep and began to look for a way to get inside along the path.
"How could I ever believe that?" Melvin expressed his doubt about what the General Sect Leader said.
"Then just wait and see." After walking around the perimeter of the fence for a half-circle, Allen Zhang finally found a gap that had been pried open, apparently by the arms dealers the day before.
Crawling through the gap, Melvin followed closely.
While walking on the grassy plain of the ranch, Melvin saw dead ducks on the ground and asked curiously, "What happened here? All the farm-raised ducks are dead?"
They walked further and stumbled upon a dead sheep. Looking closer, they saw a gunshot wound and its wool blasted open.
Melvin couldn’t help pondering and couldn’t understand why anyone would use 5.56mm bullets to kill a sheep.
Initially thought to be an isolated death, the path ahead proved more alarming, with more than one carcass of cows and sheep found along the roadside, all shot to death. Even people from the animal protection agency would be brought to tears by this scene.
