But what puzzled him was that there were stairs just outside the corridor, and if he remembered correctly based on the sound, the Security Guard should have rolled down the unidentified creature to the bottom of the stairs, yet there was not a single trace of damage on this entire flight of stairs.
“With a body like the Security Guard’s, plus a thick iron chain, even if he were rolling down with just a bucket of water, the stairs couldn’t possibly remain intact, right?”
