Chapter 31 - Inferno Kenji ;-)
As Shre6a leaped into the air, her dist suddenly ignited into flames, as she directed them straight down towards the the unprotected Kenji.
As Kenji saw the event unfolding before his eyes, and the fact that he was about to be burnt into a crisp by Phoenix flames!
Before he could even react, he already saw the raging flames right in front of his face, As he was struck hard in the face, the impact sending him flying over ten meters away!!
Kenji struck down a few trees with the impact that was thrown onto his body. He groaned hard in pain, as he didn't even think he had the strength to stand up.
But luckily, on the bright side, at least he didn't get burnt.
" The only reason you didn't get burnt due to my phoenix fire is due to the fact that you're technically bonded to a phoenix, so you're technically immune to fire attacks," Shreya said.
Realizing this, Kenji realized that this was probably the reason why the fire sprite's attack didn't affect him the last time he had fought with it.
Because of Shreya, he has fire immunity!
" So that's why," he said in realization, as he got up from the debris and straightened out his back.
Crack!~
His back made a few cracking sounds as he got up and tried to straighten it out," alright, let's go again, and this time, you won't get me off gua-"
Bam!
Before he could even finish his sentence, it was immediately halted by another punch from Shreya.
Whack!
Boom!
" Mybe I Sh-"
Bam!
Boom!
Pow!
And that was just how it continued. A one sided beating from Shreya as Kenji suffered on from broken bones and bloodied body.
Even the kids wanted to intervene when they had heard the noise, but we're only able to see Kenji flying off in different direction without the use of an external force.
" Kenji-sama is really weird isn't he?"
" Yeah I guess so, but he is really nice also,"
" Hahahahahah! Watch him get thrown around by the breeze like a rag doll, I feel ters welling up in my eyes!"
The three little children spoke telepathically of course, as they feared they would get in trouble of they spoke out loud.

" Ha! Well that was fun and refreshing!" Shreya said with a satisfied look on her face, as she strectched her hands out as if she had just finish a heavy duty work.
" You're so cruel, you're meant to help me grow stronger, not satisfy yourself by beating me up!" Kenji said, as he tended to the various types of wounds around his body with some of the herbs he had found around the area.
" Help you grow stronger? What do you mean by that? Don't you know that the only way for an animal tamer to grow stronger is to make a contract with the beasts, any other way and it's just a bunch of punishment!" Shreya said with a confused grin on her face, almost as if she had expected for Kenji to have known about that.
" Wait what?! You mean you just beat me up to a pulp for no freaking reason? What the hell is wrong with you!!" Kenji exclaimed, clearly enraged by her words.
" Well, since we're going to come clean about things like that now, then it actually wasn't necessary for you to stab yourself with a beast core, you could have just made a small prick on your finger with a beast core instead of actually stabbing yourself," Shreya said with a sheepish smile.
Kenji's eyes twitched violently, as he felt the urge to strangle this his estranged beast system to death.
" SHREYA!!" Kenji immediately ran after her, and with the amount of rage coursing through his veins right about now, Shreya didn't want to take any chances as she turned around and ran away from the raging beast named: Inferno Kenji!!
" Hahaha! Watch Kenji-sama run around like a lunatic! He's so funny!" The children couldn't hold it anymore, as they laughed out loud till they almost swallowed a fly!

Four hooded figures jumped atop from one building to another. They moved swiftly like the wind was imbuded in their legs.
One of them in particular was ahead of them all and so was the fastest, he moved like the wind itself, as he dodged chimneys skillfully and jumped as high as gravity could take him.
He seemed; unstoppable!
Suddenly, the figures came to a halt at the end of an alley way and took of their hood.
There were three men and one female. They all had menancing scars on their faces
" Is this the town where the trade is meant take place?" One of the men in the group said , seemingly the leader due to his authorative voice.
Another male in the group suddenly pulled out a stop-watch with strange runes surrounding it. It had an exquisite design that could reel in people, as the green gem embedded in it below gleamed like the river of time.
The man looked into his stop watch and closed his eyes, after a few more seconds, his face turned alert, causing the others to also fall alert," They would be arriving in 3, 2, 1,"
As he completed his countdown, a fat man with two bodyguards carrying a veiled suspicious looking vessel.
Seeing the fat man walk into the alley, the group suddenly drew out their swords in warning to the fat man saying: Don't you dare try anything funny.
Seeing their reaction, the fat man laughed out loud in excitement," friends, aren't we just here for a trade, so why draw your weapons?" He said, signalling for them to put down their weapons so as things wouldn't escalate.
" Where is it?" The leader in the group said, ignoring the fat man's threat.
Hearing his words, the fat man signalled to his body guards to drop the vessel and remove the veil.
Immediately after doing that, it was revealed that it wasn't a vessel but a human sized cage, and what was inside wasn't a beast or monster, but a pink little fox with two tails!
