He smirked, thinking about how this would further frustrate Sonaya's executives. Every detail of the ad had been meticulously planned, from the games showcased to the explosive soundtrack accompanying it he asked YaDo Animation to make this too.
'Take that, Sonaya. Let's see if you're sturdy enough to keep up with ZAGE,' he thought with a wicked chuckle. He leaned back in his chair, glancing at the clock. Just ten more minutes until it aired. The anticipation coursed through him like electricity. He had personally overseen the editing and final cut of the ad, ensuring that it had the perfect impact, there also ZAGE employees that were waiting for their ads to air with their boss!.
Meanwhile, at Sonaya HQ in Japan, Hikaru Kurata sat in his lavish office, sipping a glass of wine while reviewing Sonaya's progress. Just moments ago, he had fired Kazuha Nakata for incompetence, replacing him temporarily with Makoto, Sonaya's head engineer. While Makoto was excellent at organizing and refining game production, he lacked vision and creativity. The upcoming April releases—Thunder Warrior, Boomerang Man, and Bam A Mole—had been greenlit and were set to launch on April 30. Hikaru was cautiously optimistic. He wanted to believe Sonaya was catching up, that they had figured out a way to fight back against ZAGE's aggressive strategy.
He swirled his wine, muttering to himself. 'ZAGE probably won't release as many games this month. They threw out six last month just to slow down MGB's Release momentum. This time, they'll manage three or four at most. If that's the case, then we can compete with them.' He allowed himself a smug smirk, already thinking of ways to counterattack.
Just as he was about to take another sip, the clock struck 18:00. The TV screen he had been absentmindedly watching flickered. The familiar sound of SHIING—ZAGE logo burst onto the screen, illuminating the room. Hikaru's brow twitched.
'Heh, ZAGE's April release ad? Let's see what you've got this time, Zaboru.' He leaned forward, ready to analyze every frame.
The ad began with Zaboru himself, donned in his iconic Z helmet, standing confidently against a bold backdrop. The unmistakable opening riff of a rock anthem blasted through the speakers. Phantasy Star's battle system showed an epic turn-based fight against a massive alien warlord.

SpongeBob, Megaman, Mario, Sonic, Bill Rizer, Z-Red, Little Mac ,Cody, Samus, Donkey Kong,Excitebike guy ,Snake, Pac-man, Ryu Hayabusa , Akechi , Hang-on guy, Alex Kidd , Simon Belmont , Link , Hero from Dragon Quest , Warrior from Final fantasy and of course, Zaboru himself. Their exaggerated moves and synced rhythm made the moment both ridiculous and unforgettable.

The screen faded to black, but just as Hikaru thought it was over, a final shot appeared—Zaboru moved his Helmet very close to the camera directly at the camera he said. "You can still keep up BEEP ?" he asked, voice dripping with confidence everyone definitely knows what censored words mean! it's definitely directed at MGB!. The screen cut to the ZAGE logo one last time before fading out completely.
Hikaru Kurata's forehead twitched, veins bulging. He clenched his wine glass so hard that it nearly cracked. 'DAMN YOU, ZABORU! Are you mocking me?! And why do ZAGE's ads always have such good music?!' His rage boiled over as he slammed his fist against the desk. 'How the hell are they making six games a month?! This is insane!'
He inhaled deeply, trying to calm himself, but his mind raced with frustration and paranoia. 'I need to know their secret. I need to find out how they're pulling this off!'
With a sharp exhale, he set his glass down and stood up, his mind already formulating a plan. Whatever ZAGE was doing, he would uncover it—no matter what it took.
Meanwhile, at a bustling electronics store in downtown Tokyo, customers erupted into cheers as they watched the ad air live. Some immediately rushed to place pre-orders, while others chanted "ZAGE! ZAGE! ZAGE!" in excitement. ZAGE had once again stolen the show, and no one could deny that they were setting the standard for gaming.
