Saturday 19 April 1992 night
After coming back from surveying and finalizing the decision to purchase the land for ZAGE's future headquarters, Zaboru returned to his office to continue his work. As the night deepened, he found himself drawn to his personal collection of music. He had compiled an album titled Zaboru Mix Tape, a collection of songs that he had recreated from his previous life. With the help of a talented band he had assembled—now officially named Zankoku Band—he had managed to bring these songs to life. The band had a powerful female vocalist who could handle songs requiring a female voice, and Zaboru particularly admired her voice, voice range and tone.
He grinned as he picked up one of the cassette tapes and inserted it into the tape player. The familiar mechanical click was followed by a moment of silence before the music started playing. His mix tape contained a variety of tracks, each carefully selected for a reason:

Each song had a story behind it. Choujin Sentai Z-Man was the official opening theme for ZAGE's Z-Man series used for the Z-man AD, while Kansha was a song he had performed on New Year's Eve. The Kamen Rider Black opening theme had been faithfully recreated to match the iconic show's legacy.
GO! was a song created by FLOW in his previous life and he had written as a playful taunt towards Sonaya, celebrating ZAGE's ability to release six games per month. Winning Run! was a nostalgic track from Let's & Go!!, an anime he fondly remembered, though he had shelved the idea of using it in an RC Pro-Am game advertisement. He wanted to wait for R.C Po-AM the anime to emerge in this world before introducing the song.
GAS GAS was an energetic Engrish track used in ZEPS' global ads, making it a high-energy anthem. Machine Gun Kiss was a personal favorite—originally from the Yakuza game series in his past life. He found it fitting for Ayumi, and he had plans to sing it for her birthday. Meanwhile, Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis was the famous Evangelion opening, something he had recreated simply because he loved it. Moonlight Densetsu, on the other hand, was destined to be the theme song for Sailor Moon, an anime that YaDo Animation—ZAGE's official animation partner—will working on.
As the music played, he leaned back and grinned. He reached for his phone and dialed a familiar number. The call barely rang before a voice answered.
"Akechi-san, I need your help with something," Zaboru said, his tone brimming with excitement.
"What are you up to now, Zaboru is it Regarding Ayumi birthday?" Akechi asked, half-amused.
Zaboru chuckled. "You are correct Akechi-san Tomorrow's Ayumi's birthday, and I want to surprise her, and for that i need your help"
Akechi was silent for a moment before sighing. "Alright, what's the plan?"
Zaboru grinned and said, "I need permission to bring a truck filled with musical instruments to Hamazou HQ. My band will be coming too, and I want to put on a live performance for Ayumi. Make sure she doesn't catch wind of this—I want it to be a total surprise. If the other Hamazou want to watch, that's fine by me."
Akechi grinned, amused. "Fine. Tomorrow at 11:00. Make sure you're ready."
Zaboru smiled and said, "I'm always ready, Akechi-san. Ayumi has been overthinking everything, worrying that I might resent her because of what your father did to me. But you and I both know that's not the case, right? This performance isn't just about celebrating her birthday—it's about reassuring her, showing her that nothing has changed between us. I want her to see it, feel it, and know for sure that she has nothing to worry about."
With that, Zaboru began laying out the details of his surprise, enlisting Akechi's help to make it truly memorable.
