Clovis smiled, seeing that Jay was able to do the same. He couldn't lose to him.
Now that his blade had impaled the crocodile's body, he shifted his grip a little bit and ripped apart the hard skin like a crowbar.

After killing the two beasts, Kanaria turned around and started covering Clovis and Jay again.
Jay still had a hard time inflicting some wounds on the frog, but Clovis was toying the crocodile around.
Each shot from him caused the blood and flesh to spurt out of the crocodile's body.
The crocodile also had to take out the sword on its belly. Because of its weight, the sword ended up tilting, which widened the wound he had. That was why, before it could crawl back to the water, it had to take out this sword first.

The frog tried to stop him, but Clovis shot the frog with all his bullets. When Jay arrived, he rotated his sword and hit Clovis's sword's handle with the back of his sword, hammering it back deep.
