Qu Guang and the members of Special Battalion Two entered the storyline together, unlike in "Republic’s Lu Bu" where they were separated at the start. Their perspective appeared above Highland 597.9.
They could clearly see the situation on the battlefield.
Beneath the highland, the US Army continuously bombarded the positions, soon leaving only one young Republic volunteer soldier due to injuries and death.

"Old Qu, how did it go on your side?"
Qu Guang looked up at Shen Yan:
"Did you just come back from killing people?"
Shen Yan was also surprised:
"Why are you so calm?"
Having spent the whole night killing devils, not knowing how many were slain with large knives, the intensity of the soldiers in Special Battalion One was palpable.
Yet Qu Guang merely rolled his eyes, calmly saying:
"Look at our changes overnight."
Special Battalion Two’s soldiers, while not as fierce as Special Battalion One, each held an unwavering determination in their eyes, though none had repelled 41 attacks successfully.
