Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes Chapter 105

It had been almost six hours.

Atlas had been fighting non-stop for six hours. He was exhausted. He had managed to kill maybe half of the monsters. Now he was already at the top of the exam, in the first row. He wanted to rest. Even though the bleeding in his right arm had stopped, the pain increased exponentially with each passing hour.

His legs could barely touch the ground.

He still had two skills that he hadn’t used yet. He was only hiding these abilities to gain five minutes before he died.

None of the spectators watching from the outside moved a centimetre from their seats. They were just cheering and admiring Atlas’ willpower, which was still unbreakable.

It was incredible. A 15-year-old boy had already killed more than thirty thousand monsters by fighting non-stop.

Half of these monsters had been killed by the Heaven’s Tempest ability he had unleashed, and the other half Atlas had somehow managed to kill.

Still, it wasn’t enough.

Every single one of the wyverns had been killed by the ever-growing Heaven’s Tempest ability, which had expanded to the point that it had almost killed even Atlas on occasion.

At least Atlas had managed to enter a tier where he didn’t have to fight flying monsters.

Still, it was not enough.

There were still more than two thousand monsters on the earth.

Most of these monsters belonged to the wolf breed. However, there were even high-tier monsters like the Red Mountain Fire Bison.

He suddenly shouted. With his last step, he felt as if his legs had been rendered useless. At that moment, he realised that a wolf was charging towards him from his left and used the tiny mana he had regenerated to create a mana shield to protect himself, and the impact sent him flying for a huge length of about ten metres.

Atlas had incredible difficulty getting off the ground. He was still choosing to move forward without using his ability because he was uncertain whether he could kill over two thousand monsters in five minutes, and when those five minutes were up, there was no way he could survive.

He had used Amon and Surtur, but even if he had fought them off until the cats were wounded and half-dead, now the kitties had to hide.

He was all alone, the rain falling on him, literally tempting him to let himself go. All around him were the bodies of thousands of monsters that were not dust, but looked as if they were on a real battlefield.

It was very, very similar to the moment before he died.

"FUCK YOU ALL!" Atlas suddenly shouted, and without waiting, he finally chose to do what he should have done long before:

As he shouted, dozens of stars suddenly formed behind the dark clouds in the sky, and the light of the suddenly appearing moon began to shine down on Atlas.

Atlas managed to realise the HUGE amount of aura energy entering his body at that moment, and without stopping, he activated his second ability, Goddess’s Fury.

At that moment, the capacity of the aura entering his body increased by 60% and Atlas became completely invincible. At least against the monsters in front of him.

He suddenly stayed where he was. He gripped the Holy Sword in his weak left arm even more firmly and then took out a healing pill from his inventory.

He could have used this pill before, but he did not want others to say that he had passed this test with the help of the pill.

Nevertheless, he popped the pill in his mouth this time without a second thought, and at that moment, the huge hole in his right arm and the small, tiny hole in his left leg began to heal.

At that moment, Atlas reactivated the nerve and muscle points in his right arm, and instead of avoiding the other wolves jumping on him this time, he managed to kill 11 wolves that came towards him in just two moves.

At that moment, he realised that his right arm was healed and after grasping the holy sword tightly in his right hand, he rushed forward.

The world felt very spacious to him. He had almost 600% of his normal aura energy in his body.

This alone seemed to explain how perfect the fourth-level aura was, and at the same time why it was so difficult to reach this level.

Those watching from the outside were trying to understand how Atlas had jumped from the third-level aura to the fourth level in an instant.

Only Cassandra was smiling.

"What’s going on Cass?" Talon asked with great curiosity, his voice echoing throughout the arena and coliseum.

"Let’s just say Lady Nyx is mightier than anyone else, and truth be told, her favourite person is fighting inside the barrier right now. How many abilities do you think he has? The ones he uses and the ones he doesn’t," Cassandra muttered. It was clear that those words had silenced everyone watching. Even Cordelia had never seen such an ability before.

It was an ability that broke the laws of creation, an ability that no mortal should have.

But what would happen if Atlas managed to acquire a level 12 aura? There was no higher level of aura, level 12 already had a power almost equivalent to that of the Sages...but that was a figure of speech, the Sages were still hundreds of times stronger than them.

Still, did that mean that a 13th level could exist? Just as Cordelia was the first to break all the rules of creation and possess 48 magic rings.

Eyes were locked in the arena.

For Atlas to possess and maintain this power this required near-perfect combat experience.

Everything he had demonstrated today was near perfection, some even surpassing that of master warriors and sorcerers.

Indeed, in a word, with the presence of every word that could be used to describe it... [It was] a [holy sight].
