Antihero In the Hero Academy: I Can Connect the Past Heroes Chapter 42

Atlas was walking through the vast training grounds with soft steps. He walked as lightly as he could, yet as quickly as possible, towards where the sound was coming from. A very muffled crying sound echoed in his ears with every step he took. It was something seriously disturbing.

After only ten seconds of walking, he was shocked at what he saw.

A human group consisting of two girls and a boy had cornered a young elf girl. The young girl’s clothes were torn and her body was full of wounds.

"Ah...It happened again..." Atlas suddenly thought, the light in his eyes began to fade, he thought that maybe he could help humanity and save the whole world this time, but humanity never changes.

Maybe there were a few good people among them, like Aether, the emperor of the Epsilon Empire, but that was about it.

Humanity had fallen into darkness, and it was too late for them to retreat.

Atlas started walking again with light steps and then directly grabbed the human in the group of three people by his clothes and threw him backwards.

As everyone in the room wondered what was going on, Atlas walked over to the young elf girl and said, "I’m sorry, not all of us are good humans...sadly." and pulled an ointment from his inventory.

As gently as he could, and at the same time ignoring the trio around him, he began to apply the ointment to the young elf girl.

After that, he wiped his hand with a cloth from his inventory, and then, without thinking, he turned around and looked at the trio.

They all looked like fourth-year students, but only one of them was a third-grade mage. They looked like they were too stupid to hide their magical powers.

Atlas could see each of their faces. He recognised each of them. The two princesses of the eastern kingdom and one of the future earls of the southern empire.

"What do you think you’re doing?!" one of the princesses suddenly shouted. The way Atlas was looking at them seemed to anger them.

Still, the princess’s words seemed to go in one ear and out the other. He calmly walked over to the male of the group and then calmly said, "You’re not even important enough for me to need to know your name." and punched the boy in the nose as hard as he could.

"STOP!!!" one of the princesses shouted, but Atlas seriously didn’t care.

Atlas raised his hand in the air again and then punched the young man in the face:

He managed to land almost ten punches as hard as he could on the young man’s face. However, he felt the magical energy rising around him and then looked at the princesses and questioned, "Are you guys fucking stupid?"

"Soul burning fire, destroy the determination of our enemies. Fire Arrow!" one of the princesses suddenly muttered.

The spell travelled swiftly towards Atlas, who merely raised his hand and held the fire arrow in his hand.

"They need to use words when they’re casting a spell with just one magic ring. Pathetic." Atlas thought. There was no way to express how seriously disappointed he was.

Immediately after that, he opened his palm and said "Freeze," without waiting.

As soon as he said that, the princess’s body froze like ice and she fell to the ground. Atlas turned to the other princess and said, "Start carrying the bastard and follow me."

With that, he got up from the young man he was holding steady by cleaning his hand full of blood and then turned to the young elf girl and said, "Don’t worry, I will protect you personally. Come with me."

The young elf girl shook her head with tears in her eyes and then came up to Atlas with her weak body.

Atlas began to drag the young man writhing on the ground directly by his hair.

However, each of them came out of the training ground.

Atlas was dragging the bloodied young man on the ground and walking under the fearful gaze of the passing students.

Behind him, his twin, still carrying the stunned and frozen princess, and the young elf girl, walking to the right of Atlas, continued to walk through the corridors.

Even some of the fifth-year students were trying to figure out what was going on, but when Atlas looked in their direction, they turned their heads away in fear.

Atlas didn’t give a damn. He knew his sister’s past at this academy very clearly. This was the reason why he had not been bullied in her previous life. Eva was seriously someone who could slaughter the academy for Atlas, ignoring the empire and even Cordelia.

Even when Atlas was still young, Eva was terrorising the academy. There was no way to tell how many nobles had fallen into line because of this woman.

According to rumours, even Emperor Aether and Empress Aelia, who considered her a very great person, were brought into line by Eva. That was why the two held Eva in such high regard. And this is why both of them saw Atlas as their niece.

Atlas, on the other hand, felt as if they were looking at the same Eva by those who saw what was happening now. It seemed that they both had the same psychology and behaviour as an older sister and brother.

It could be seen that no one should do wrong to the duo.

After a short while, Atlas finally made it to the courtyard of the academy. Hundreds of students had already gathered around this rather large courtyard.

Irene Luis, even some members of the student committee seemed to be here.

Atlas immediately threw the young man by the hair into the centre of the courtyard.

The looks around were becoming much more serious. Still, no one dared to come forward and say anything.

Even the fifth graders had to content themselves with watching where they were. No one was even making a peep.
