"Foodie" officially started on July 2nd, and the silly author has persisted with daily updates for two months now, gradually developing from the initial zero words to 130,000 words, which is quite something to be proud of, right?
I’d like to especially thank all friends for their support and encouragement. I have carefully read and replied to each of your messages. Special thanks to those who gave suggestions and encouragement. But, cough, if you could leave lots more messages every day, I’d be even happier!
If nothing unexpected happens, this book will officially be released on September 1st, with lots of updates on the release day, and at least two updates every day thereafter. Additionally, the silly author will occasionally add extra updates!
Currently, the silly author’s writing speed is a bit slow (I’m not kidding). You should know this from reading the book, as it involves all kinds of mutated insects, beasts, and plants, as well as various delicacies. The silly author writes while researching, and often checks idioms first just to avoid using them incorrectly and becoming a laughingstock, so the speed really doesn’t pick up. It may take nearly an hour to write a thousand words. To do more updates at release, the silly author has stored up drafts days in advance ╮(╯▽╰)╭, watching others write thousands of words in an hour is so envious!
Right now, subscribing costs only 3-5 cents for a thousand words, which means the content that the silly author painstakingly takes over an hour to write is sold cheap for just a few cents (╥╯^╰╥), doesn’t that sound quite melancholic!
Nonetheless, the silly author still recklessly decided to add more updates!
The editor said to do lots more updates upon release to try for the monthly ticket rankings, though it probably won’t work out ╮(╯▽╰)╭. I still want to give it a shot and see how far I can go. So here’s asking any friend passing by, if you have any monthly tickets, please vote for me, I’m really begging!
========================Full Means Extra======================
After release, the basic update is 4000 words every day, split into 2 Chapters, each Chapter 2000 words, same as the public Chapters for easy reading.
Based on this, meeting any one of the conditions below, the silly author will add more updates.
Recommendation votes increase by 1000, add one Chapter!
Monthly votes increase by 30, add one Chapter!
He Shi Bi increases by 1, add one Chapter!
Long reviews increase by 1, add one Chapter!
Average subscription increases by 100, add one Chapter!
Favorites increase by 300, add one Chapter!
Clicks increase by 50,000, add one Chapter!
Five-star reviews increase by 10, add one Chapter! (This counts rating votes, only lighting up five stars counts~)
More will be added if I think of them, all friends are welcome to supervise.
========================Some Explanations======================
First, every account has recommendation votes, no need to spend extra money, logging in every day gives them, and if not used they expire the next day.
Second, monthly votes come from spending 10 yuan on subscriptions last month, and if not used, they expire the next month.
Third, if other standards are temporarily not met but you wish for the silly author to add more, write a long review! Long review requirements: choose the "Long Review" category in the comment section, at least 500 words, discussing plot or character analysis, as long as it’s not spam or malicious defamation, feel free to express your opinions.
Fourth, "Pointing out the book’s flaws does not count as malicious defamation." Malicious defamation is defined as "bad attitude," intentionally "taking out of context," "reversing black and white," "fabricating from nothing" to defame the book and the author.
Fifth, additional update standards take effect starting now, data accumulates from now, previous data doesn’t count.
Sixth, for ease of statistics, initial data is calculated as integers, e.g., recommendation votes start at 3000.
