The entire platform and tracks were littered with the bodies of various survivors, limbs scattered everywhere. A massive black centipede’s riddled corpse lay across several tracks. Besides that, there were enormous Fog Spiders, a White Giant Monster with its upper body shattered, two gigantic beetles the size of cars, and a truck with a red humanoid creature’s severed arm impaled on its cockpit...

But obviously, last night’s great battle at Hengshan Pass surely caught the attention of many survivor shelters around it. Perhaps there were convoys from other track lines as well. Whoever it was, they had beaten them to it.
This kind of behavior is not disgraceful, as all the survivors are purely acting out of survival instinct.

Many empty carriages stood abandoned across the freight train station, mostly rusted, with even wild grass already withered.
In some abandoned houses by the road, a porcelain cabinet was toppled into a decayed floor pit. The plates inside were still neatly stacked, a baby stroller soaked yellowed in a puddle, adding to the desolate, empty atmosphere.

On the rooftop, Lu Xingchen casually swept with a sword gesture, incinerating the horde surrounding the train in a spray of flames. In no time, the freight station’s zombies were entirely cleared out.
Miao Lu, with a few squads, quickly established lookout points on various walls and towers, creating a small train camp.
Shu Qin, Lv Chang, and Lin Xian each took one of the three motorcycles, setting out on different paths. Inside, Chen Sixuan and Da Lou began cleaning and repairing the train.
After some time of working together, the Infinity team had established clear role divisions.
Chen Sixuan primarily handled internal vehicle duties, driving, navigation, and long-range sniping.
Shu Qin and Lv Chang, skilled and agile, primarily served as the rapid response team responsible for scouting and surveying the terrain.
Miao Lu and Da Lou served as Chen Sixuan’s external and internal supporters, mostly defending the stationary train, repairing it, and inventorying supplies.
Lu Xingchen, though spending much of his time basking in the sun, was the main combat force for guarding the train. Meanwhile, Sha Sha often accompanied him in searching for supplies near the camp.
Lin Xian and KIKI, the formidable duo, took on the external operations. Their mobility and combat strength were considerable, and they worked together with excellent synergy, often escaping mortal danger. As such, they usually did not bring more people along.
On Lin Xian’s side, the motorcycle charged down the road, accelerating towards a direction within the city.
"Are you so certain Hu Lushou participated in the Foundation’s human experiments and won, or is that just a guess?" On the road, KIKI asked curiously.
