"Red Man Gu?"
"No! It’s a human!"
The short-haired woman immediately tumbled in the air upon hearing this. The power armor on her arms and feet revealed a miniature propulsion system, making a sharp angle turn in mid-air, shooting straight toward Grace, who was about to be engulfed by a mass of debris.
"I’ll handle this first, Ryuji, hold them off!"
"Okay." The hooded man’s voice was low. He turned in mid-air and waved his hands, and instantly, various bricks, metal cars, and lampposts from the surrounding streets began to float upward, spinning in the air to form various sharp objects that hovered menacingly in front of him with great momentum.
"Don’t be careless, I sense a strong spirit vibration value fluctuation!" The girl named Shi Zhi stood in the middle, casting a faint green wave from each hand, connecting it to Takahashi Ryunosuke and Tianye Lan, causing their auras to surge, seemingly resisting even the invasive darkness.
Swish, swish.
Ryuji also sensed an unusual aura swiftly approaching from the distant street. His eyes narrowed as the red katana at his waist automatically unsheathed and floated to his side.
Suddenly, in the high sky, a red fiery light appeared, rapidly expanding from a small point to a massive fireball with a diameter of a hundred meters, nearly illuminating the entire neighborhood sky, roaring down toward Ryuji.
"Fire Fist!"
"Fire Power?" Ryuji pushed his hands forward, and all the sharp controlled objects in front of him burst forth. At the same time, he unleashed an invisible shock wave that surged upward toward the sky.
Boom!
The flames exploded in the sky as they met the shock wave, the light bright and billowing heat waves dispersing over the square below.
Ryuji’s shock wave felt a tremendous impact force. He frowned slightly; the intensity of the flames seemed beyond his expectations. However, the sharp controlled objects wrapped in his power hadn’t melted but instead broke through the flames, shooting quickly toward the target in the high sky.
In mid-air, Ryuji had not yet confirmed whether he had hit the person setting the fire when he suddenly sensed he was being targeted by something.
Bang!
The dull sound of a sniper rifle erupted, and the countless stones and steel protecting Ryuji instantly merged to form a large wall. However, the 12.7 armor-piercing bullet immediately penetrated this defense, heading straight for Ryuji’s face.
Ryuji’s eyes emitted a superpower glow, buzzing with strong control force, forcibly stopping the bullet head, which had been deformed by pressure, just before it reached his face.
Meanwhile, two female figures appeared behind her, one heading toward her, the other rushing toward the girl named Shi Zhi in the middle.
Ning Jing and Xiao Qing!
"Xun! Support Shi Zhi!" Lan coldly shouted, immediately turning around to face the enemy, throwing a punch toward the approaching Ning Jing.
Bang!
The two collided with a punch, causing a violent sonic boom. The ground under Lan’s feet collapsed instantly, debris shooting out. The opponent’s immense power startled her; if not for the special material of her power armor and its powerful electromagnetic joints, she would have been knocked back by this punch. Yet, the opponent’s power armor arm’s armor shattered, relying solely on physical strength to fight against her. Tianye Lan couldn’t believe someone could slightly surpass her in strength!
Meanwhile, Xiao Qing swung on a grappling hook toward Shi Zhi, unaware that beneath the damaged ground, a silver-black heavy armored mecha suddenly burst from the ground, wielding a high-frequency electric axe right at her.
This mecha stood over two meters tall, with thick armor, exuding explosive power all over!
Xiao Qing blocked with a horizontal blade, firing two shots from the gun blade into the black mecha, then flipping backward. The ambushing black mecha took two steps forward, ready to grab Xiao Qing when suddenly, a dark red laser beam shot from behind her, directly hitting the mecha’s chest. The mecha exploded with a high-frequency vibration, blocking momentarily, then quickly turned, the laser beam grazing a scorching red mark on its arm!
On the other side, just after breaking through the stones controlled by Ryuji, Grace also prepared to attack Tianye Lan. However, just as she was about to move, the radar system detected impending danger from the shadows behind her. She turned abruptly, and another heavy armored mecha burst forth, grabbing her head and charging along a building wall, showering sparks everywhere.
Grace remained unharmed in the impact. She twisted her waist, wrapping her legs around the mecha’s arm, then yanked sharply with her hands, instantly tearing apart a hinge on the mecha’s right arm. Sensing the abnormality, the mecha immediately activated a high-voltage electric hammer on its right arm. Zzz! Blue sparks erupted, blasting Grace away.
On a distant high-rise balcony, a frail-looking young man wearing a set of holographic equipment closely manipulated two heavy armored mechas in combat. Beside him stood a smaller-sized mecha.
"Impressive, they don’t seem to be from the Deep Red World..." he muttered to himself while seriously controlling the mechas.
Back on the battlefield, Tianye Lan also sensed the fierce assault from the opponent. She immediately deflected Ning Jing’s strike, spun around, preparing to resolve Grace with the heavy armored mecha and then retreat fully.
"Xun, protect Shi Zhi. I’ll take care of that Intelligent Brain first!"
Curiously, all these individuals, including Tianye Lan, targeted Grace as the core target. With that, she sidestepped Ning Jing’s punch, bursting forward toward Grace, flanking her with the heavy armored mecha. Yet, in a split second, she detected a rapidly approaching silhouette. Instantly, a golden flash appeared before her, kicking toward her chest!
