Su Jiyai’s heart melted and she said, “Wait here.” She walked into her room and ordered the system to make four dishes and one dessert.
Su Jiyai returned with a tray in her hands, laden with four carefully prepared dishes and a dessert.
Huo Ning’s eyes widened at the sight, her body too weak to react properly, but the desperation in her gaze was unmistakable.
“Here, eat slowly,” Su Jiyai said softly, placing the tray in front of Huo Ning.
She offered her a spoonful of soup, and Huo Ning’s trembling hands reached for it, too weak to hold it properly.
