Apocalypse: I Have A Multiplier System Chapter 391

Chapter 391: Chapter 391: Killing Chapter 391: Chapter 391: Killing That night, Su Jin left the base, carrying only a small bag.

He looked back once, hesitating, but Su Rong waved at him with a reassuring smile.

I’ll call you when it’s safe to return.” As soon as he was out of sight, Su Rong’s smile faded.

She thought for a while before telling the news to Su Yun.

Of course, she changed her words and said, “Sister, did you know, father had insurance on his name?

It’s worth 2 million points in today’s date.” Su Yun’s eyes widened in surprise, “Are you serious?” Su Yun’s eyes sparkled with greed.

Two million points—that was a fortune!

She quickly grabbed Su Rong’s arm.

“You’re not joking, right?

Father really has insurance worth that much?” Su Rong nodded with a serious face.

“Yes, but there’s a problem.

The insurance only pays out if… he dies.” Su Yun’s excitement turned into deep thought.

“So… if something happens to him, we get the money?” Su Rong sighed.

“Yes, but of course, we shouldn’t do anything reckless.

Father is out of the base.

He will be fine as long as he stays away from danger.” Su Yun, however, was no longer listening.

Two million points… With that much, she could live in luxury!

No more struggling, no more pretending to be kind.

But how could she make it happen?

Su Jin had just left the base.

If something happened to him outside, no one would suspect anything.

And without him, she could take the money.

A wicked idea formed in her mind.

That night, Su Yun packed some supplies and left the base.

She followed Su Jin’s tracks, moving fast under the moonlight.

She knew her father well—he would never go too far from safety.

After a few hours, she spotted him resting in a small abandoned shelter.

He had made a small fire, and he looked tired.

Su Yun took a deep breath, hiding in the shadows.

She pulled out a small knife she had brought with her.

Her heart was pounding, but she reminded herself—this was for the money.

She stepped forward, forcing a smile.

“Father?” Su Jin looked up, surprised.

What are you doing here?” She pretended to be out of breath.

“I… I was worried about you!

I thought you might be in danger, so I came to find you.” Su Jin’s face softened.

I told you I would be fine.” Su Yun sat next to him, acting like a caring daughter.

They talked for a while, and Su Jin slowly relaxed.

Then, when he least expected it—she struck.

The knife sank into his side.

Su Jin gasped, his eyes wide in shock.

“S-Su Yun…?” Su Yun gritted her teeth and stabbed him again, this time in the chest.

Blood poured from his mouth as he tried to speak, but no words came out.

His body trembled, his hands reaching for her, but he was too weak.

“You should’ve been smarter, Father,” Su Yun whispered coldly.

“You were always so selfish.

Now, you’re finally useful.” Su Jin’s body went still.

His eyes stared blankly at the sky.

Su Yun wiped her hands and took a deep breath.

Now, all she had to do was go back and wait for the insurance payout.

What have you done!” Su Rong’s panicked voice sounded.

Su Yun turned around and almost lost her footing when she saw Su Rong.

Su Rong stood a few steps away, staring at her father’s lifeless body with wide, shocked eyes.

Her hands trembled, and her face looked pale as if she had just witnessed something terrible.

What have you done?” Su Rong’s voice was shaky, almost breaking.

Su Yun swallowed hard, her breath uneven.

“Why… Why are you here?” she asked, her voice laced with panic.

Su Rong rubbed her forehead as if trying to clear her thoughts.

Then, she let out a deep breath.

“I… I came to check something,” she said hesitantly.

Su Yun narrowed her eyes.

“Check what?” Su Rong glanced at Su Jin’s body, then back at Su Yun.

Her lips trembled, and she looked like she was struggling to find the right words.

“I-I had to make sure… about the insurance.” Su Yun’s body tensed.

“What do you mean?” Su Rong clenched her fists, her expression full of regret and hesitation.

She looked down at the ground, avoiding Su Yun’s piercing gaze.

“I found out… that the insurance doesn’t exist,” she whispered.

Su Yun’s stomach dropped.

“What?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Su Rong bit her lip, her face looking full of guilt.

“I checked the records after you left… There’s no insurance under Father’s name.

The information was false.” Su Yun felt like the ground had disappeared beneath her feet.

No two million points?

She had just killed her own father—for nothing?

Her hands started to shake.

“No… No, you’re lying!

You must be mistaken!” she shouted.

Su Rong flinched, taking a step back, her face filled with fear.

“I-I wish I was… But it’s the truth.

I didn’t know until after I told you… I came to find Father to warn him, but…”  She looked at the body again and covered her mouth as if she was going to cry.

Su Yun’s breath came out in short gasps.

Her head spun as the realization sank in.

She had been tricked.

She killed Su Jin with her own hands, believing she would gain something.

But now, she had nothing.

No way to undo what she had done.

And worst of all—Su Rong knew everything.

Su Yun’s eyes turned cold as she stared at her younger sister.

Did she do this on purpose?

But Su Rong looked broken, lost, and confused.

Su Yun gritted her teeth, forcing herself to calm down.

Slowly, she took a deep breath.

“We… We need to get rid of the body,” she said, her voice low.

“But… He’s our father…” Su Yun grabbed her shoulders, her grip tight.

“Don’t f*cking play innocent in front of me, Su Rong.

If you didn’t him dead, you might have never mentioned the insurance in the first place.” Su Rong’s face turned even paler, and she looked away as if she was afraid to meet Su Yun’s eyes.

“S-Sister, I didn’t mean for this to happen…” she whispered.

Su Yun tightened her grip on Su Rong’s shoulders, her nails digging into the fabric of her clothes.

You knew exactly what you were doing!” she hissed.

Su Rong bit her lip, her hands shaking.

“I… I just wanted to see if you would actually do it,” she said softly.

Su Yun’s eyes widened.

“What?” Su Rong took a shaky breath.

“I suspected you might try something, but I wasn’t sure.

I thought maybe, just maybe, you wouldn’t go through with it…” She looked at their father’s lifeless body, her eyes red with unshed tears.

“But you did.” Su Yun’s chest burned with anger.

“So you set me up?” she growled.

Su Rong shook her head quickly.

I didn’t force you to do anything!

I just… gave you the idea.” She swallowed hard.

“You’re the one who made the choice, Sister.” Su Yun’s hands trembled.

She wanted to scream, to hit something.

This couldn’t be happening!

She had thought she was smart, that she had outplayed everyone.

But in the end, Su Rong had played her.

Still, Su Yun refused to accept it.

“You think you can just walk away from this?” Su Yun asked, her voice low and dangerous.

“You think you can pretend to be innocent while I take all the blame?” Su Rong looked up at her with an unreadable expression.

“You’re the one with blood on your hands, Sister,” she said softly.

“Not me.” Su Yun’s heart pounded.

She could feel her control slipping.

No, I won’t let this happen.

Slowly, she let go of Su Rong and took a deep breath.

Finally, she forced a smile.

We need to get rid of the body before anyone finds it.” Su Rong hesitated, then nodded.

“O-Okay…” But deep inside, she was smiling.

In the end, Su Yun had fallen right into her trap.

Not only did she have proof against Su Yun, but Su Jin was killed too.

Two birds were taken down with just a single stone.

After dealing with the deal body, the sisters returned to the Hope Base in silence.

Finally, when they reached the gate, Su Yun turned toward Su Rong and threatened, “Don’t you dare say anything about father’s death to anyone…” “I won’t.” Su Rong shook her head, “Sister trust me.

I do have familial affection for you.

Hence even though I know everything, I didn’t tell anyone anything.”
