Apocalypse: I Have A Multiplier System Chapter 543

Before he could even reply, Su Jiyai teleported with a flash of light.

George narrowed his eyes as he watched her disappear.

He had a strong feeling he knew what was going on.

Meanwhile, Qin Feng scratched his head, confused. "She’s in a real hurry... Something’s up."

Then he looked at George with a serious face. "George, I want to do something for her. Something big. Will you help me?"

George straightened up immediately. "Anything for you, Boss. Just say the word."

Qin Feng nodded with determination. "Good. I’ll tell you the plan tonight."

Meanwhile, at Hope Base...

Su Jiyai appeared in her private underground room, dusted herself off.

"System," she said, "is there any function to decorate the entire base? Like for a celebration?"

The system hummed for a moment. Then its robotic voice replied,

[Yes. There is a base decoration function. You can decorate the entire base with just a snap of your finger. It costs 1 million points.]

Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow. "1 million points, huh? Hmm..."

"System," she said playfully, "bring out the Discount Wheel!"

[As you wish, Host. Bringing out Discount Wheel...]

A glowing blue panel appeared in front of her. On it was a huge spinning wheel, divided into colorful slices with numbers like 10%, 20%, 30%, 50%, and one tiny slice that said "FREE."

This was her secret weapon. She had fought, argued, and bargained with the system admin just to get this one custom-made discount wheel.

Su Jiyai cracked her fingers and said, "Let’s do this."

She tapped the "SPIN" button.

Click... click... click...

The wheel started spinning. It rotated super fast at first, then slowed down little by little. Su Jiyai leaned closer, her eyes sparkling.

"Come on... Come on..."

Then the arrow stopped at 50% OFF!

"YES!" Su Jiyai cheered.

She jumped up and clapped her hands. "System, I want to buy the 1 million-point decoration package. But now it should only be 500,000 points!"

[Confirmed. Decoration Package purchased at 50% discount. Deducting 500,000 points.]

Su Jiyai smiled proudly. "That’s more like it."

Just as Su Jiyai was happily humming and admiring her discount victory, her system blinked again with a new message.

[Ding! Incoming private meeting request from Yuan Xin.]

Su Jiyai groaned a little. "Ugh, really? Can’t I just have one happy moment without problems?"

Still, she straightened up and said, "System, allow Yuan Xin into the private conference room."

She walked in the monitor room and turned on the screen.

"I’m sorry for calling this meeting so suddenly, Boss Su," he said seriously. "But this is urgent."

Su Jiyai crossed her arms. "Alright, go on. What’s the trouble this time?"

Yuan Xin took a deep breath and said,

"We’ve received a threat from a base leader... someone named Zhang. He says if we don’t respond soon, he’ll lead a protest to Hope Base."

Su Jiyai raised an eyebrow. "Zhang? Who even is that?"

"He’s the leader of a small place called Luna Moon Base. Last month, we accepted a few survivors from that base. They told us terrible things about him, that he pretended to be kind, but secretly poisoned his people and tried to kill them."

Su Jiyai frowned a little but didn’t look shocked.

After all she was the one who had saved them.

"Now this Zhang says many of his base members are dead. He’s blaming us. He says Hope Base didn’t respond in time, and because of that, he lost people. He’s demanding compensation. Otherwise... he says he’ll complain to the Alliance."

Su Jiyai let out a slow yawn and waved her hand lazily. "Let him come. I’m not scared of petty men shouting outside my walls."

Yuan Xin looked confused. "Boss Su, aren’t you at least a little concerned?"

She gave a small smirk.

"Not really. He thinks his people died, but he doesn’t know that I already rescued them. That’s what happens when you’re dumb and evil, you don’t even notice when your plans fail."

She turned her head slightly, her voice calm but sharp. "Just send him a message: ’Don’t play with fire unless you’re ready to burn.’ And then ignore him until he shows up."

Yuan Xin blinked, then nodded. "Understood."

He cleared his throat and added, "There’s something else... It’s about the zombies."

Su Jiyai’s expression turned serious.

Yuan Xin sighed. "They’re evolving. Fast. Level 1 zombies that used to be weak are now Level 3. And Level 3 zombies have started turning into Level 7."

Su Jiyai’s eyebrows twitched slightly. "That fast, huh?"

"Yes," Yuan Xin said. "Even though our base has powerful superhumans, upgraded weapons, and advanced tools... things are getting harder. The zombies are getting stronger, smarter, and harder to kill."

He looked straight into the camera. "Other bases are starting to panic. Some are requesting us to sell them weapons. A few even offered high prices."

Su Jiyai rubbed her chin in thought.

Before she could reply, Yuan Xin said, "Also... I found this."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small crystal.

It glowed softly, pure white, almost like moonlight.

The moment Su Jiyai saw it, her heart skipped a beat.

Her eyes locked onto the crystal like it was calling to her.

For some strange reason, she really wanted to touch it.

"Yuan Xin," she asked slowly, "where did you find this?"

"From one of the level 7 zombies." Yuan Xin replied.

Before he could finish, Su Jiyai asked the system in her mind:

"System, is that... a dimensional stone superpower crystal?"

The system went quiet for a second.

Then it answered, sounding almost impressed:

[Host, your guess is 100% correct. That crystal is indeed a Dimensional Opening Superpower Crystal. It’s extremely rare. And if you absorb it, your cultivation, which has been stuck for a while, will finally rise.]

Su Jiyai’s eyes sparkled.

She looked at the crystal again, her whole body tingling.

This wasn’t just a lucky find.

Without wasting even a second, Su Jiyai looked at Yuan Xin through the monitor and said calmly, "Place the crystal on the table. I’ll take care of the rest. And try to find more of these if possible."

Yuan Xin gave a firm nod. "Understood, Boss."

He placed the glowing white crystal gently on the metal table beside him. The second it touched the surface, it shimmered and vanished.

A soft flash of light appeared in front of Su Jiyai.

The crystal reappeared, now in her room.

Su Jiyai picked it up slowly. It felt warm, but not hot. Like sunlight in early spring. The moment her fingers closed around it, she felt a wave of energy rush through her veins.

It was like her blood was singing, her bones buzzing with power. Her energy level was rising, little by little, just from holding it.

"If I absorb this fully... I’ll definitely break through," she whispered.

But then she paused and looked at the crystal for a long moment. Her fingers tightened around it, then she gently placed it into her system inventory.

She had too many plans right now, surprises, preparations, and important things waiting to happen. Breaking through now could be dangerous. If her body reacted strangely or her power went out of control, it could ruin everything.

She couldn’t let that happen.

Then, she turned her eyes back to the screen where Yuan Xin was waiting.

"You don’t have to worry," she said calmly. "Soon, I’ll provide food that boosts superpowers. That should help the team prepare against those Level 7 zombies."

Yuan Xin’s eyes widened. "Boost... superpowers? Through food?!"

He stood up straight and stuttered, "Boss Su... sometimes, it really feels like you’re from a different dimension."

Su Jiyai smirked. "Maybe I am."

Yuan Xin bowed politely. "I’m truly grateful for everything you’ve done. You always think ahead of the rest of us."

Su Jiyai waved her hand. "It’s nothing. Anything else you wanted to say?"

Yuan Xin hesitated for a second, then nodded. "Actually... yes. About the weapon requests from other bases. If you allow it, I’d like to handle the selling on your behalf."

"Oh?" Su Jiyai tilted her head.

Yuan Xin continued, "Since my superpower is related to weapons and the base’s weapons can’t be sold directly, and I also know how to talk to other base leaders, I am thinking about selling the weapons in my hands. And since I’m a member of Hope Base, I want to give 30% of all my sales as tax to you."

Su Jiyai blinked, a little surprised. "There’s no need for that. I trust you."

But Yuan Xin shook his head seriously. "Boss, you gave me a second life. From the moment I joined Hope Base, you helped me grow stronger. You trusted me. 30% is nothing, if anything, I’m still paying back a huge debt."

Su Jiyai stared at him for a moment, then gave a small, soft smile. "If that’s truly what you want, then I won’t stop you."

Yuan Xin nodded firmly. "Thank you, Boss Su."
