But since I had already cut it, I had to eat it before it oxidized.
Su Yinhe still ate it in one bite.
It was the kind of apple she liked, both crunchy and sweet.
“I want to eat too.” Lin Murong, who was originally whining, clamored for a bite when he saw it.
Just as he reached out to grab it, Chi Yan shoved an unpeeled apple into his mouth.
Chi Yan ignored Lin Murong’s look of resentment and began to ask Su Yinhe what she’d like to drink.
“I’m good with anything.” Su Yinhe wasn’t picky—she could drink plain water, tea, or any kind of soda.
“Then let’s have tea.”
“Sure, I’m fine with anything.” Su Yinhe nodded obediently.
Su Yinhe thought making tea was simply about putting some tea leaves in a cup, pouring in boiling water, steeping it briefly, and then it was ready.
But it turned out Chi Yan’s way of drinking tea seemed different from what she had imagined.
Su Yinhe watched as he took out a set of teaware from his space and presented her with more than a dozen cans of tea to choose from.
She had no freaking idea what made these teas different from each other.
Isn’t it all the same?
They look similar, and they probably taste similar too.
She just pointed to one at random.
Chi Yan opened that can of tea and began to brew it for her.
She watched as he scalded the cups, picked through the tea leaves, and fussed over a whole lot.
After finally infusing the water, he discarded it, then started all over again.
And then he poured some more out.
His actions were very graceful.
But she couldn’t appreciate it.
She could only appreciate his face.
She cursed herself internally for being so shallow. Then she continued to stare at his face, feeling perfectly justified.
She wasn’t sure if it was her imagination, but she had the impression that Chi Yan’s movements became even more graceful after he noticed her gaze.
At last, a cup of tea was placed in front of Su Yinhe, and she took a sip.
Before she could even taste it, it was gone…
How could this cup be so small?
“I, I, I want some too,” Lin Murong also wanted to drink. Chi Yan had been pouring back and forth, making such a fuss, it looked delicious.
Chi Yan gave him a fleeting glance and poured a cup for him.

Lin Murong blabbed for so long, he really got thirsty. With a blink, he disappeared and then came back with a big cup, poured the entire pot of tea into it, and gulped it down.
He was so fast that Chi Yan didn’t have time to stop him.
“It’s just a bit hot…” Lin Murong drank so quickly, his mouth felt like it was on fire.
She quietly turned her back; such a gory scene was not for her to witness.
Just as she turned around, a scream came from behind her.
Then, one after another, the screams kept coming.
It didn’t last long, just about five or six minutes.
By the time she turned around, Lin Murong had already disappeared, leaving only Chi Yan behind.
She smartly didn’t ask Chi Yan where Lin Murong had gone.
“I’ll treat you to some cookies,” Chi Yan took out a box of cookies.
“These aren’t available in the supermarket, and I found them really delicious. I think you’ll like them.”
It was a rather exquisite box, which Su Yinhe received and began to silently munch on the cookies.
Chi Yan also brought out two cups of brewed red tea.

“I have more here,” Chi Yan suddenly took out a dozen more boxes of cookies.

When Su Yinhe left, she was carrying over twenty boxes of cookies.
It started as a dozen, but just before she left, Chi Yan thought it wasn’t enough and added another dozen.
She was foolish, forgetting she had a space power, and just like that, she slowly moved them all the way home.
With so many boxes, cautious as she might be, she still dropped a few and had to go back to pick them up.
Fortunately, she insisted that Chi Yan not come out with her, otherwise he would have seen this embarrassing scene.
Relocating the supermarket was an important issue.
Su Yinhe decided to listen to their opinions.

Su Yinhe was in a dilemma.

Lin Murong still had a wound on his face, likely given by Chi Yan. An apple was pushed his way, and as he bit into it, it pulled at the wound, and he hissed in pain. Yet unwilling to give up the apple in his mouth, he bit and finished it.

Knowing that Su Yinhe was preparing to move the supermarket, Lin Murong rubbed his hands together eagerly, anticipating the sight of the supermarket taking flight.
Lin Murong was dumbfounded.
