Chapter 12: Dungeon Reward, Consequences of the Event
"I’ve already cleared one dungeon alone. A stronger dungeon than this, so just do as I say, and we’ll sweep this one easily."
Everyone nodded.
This dungeon had a simple layout. It was just a big grove with four areas in four directions.
Once they defeat the mini-bosses in the four areas, the dungeon boss would spawn in the middle.
The battles were utterly easy with this party of eight people.
Axir didn’t kill a single monkey.
The various kinds of Mad Monkeys in this dungeon were all level 20, so no one aside from him had a power to one-shot them.
But with his help, he gave them kills.
The strategy was simple.
After going to an area, he would control the mini-boss and attract the attention of some monkeys while issuing instructions to others as they dealt with other monkeys.
Aside from minor mess-ups that inflicted some injuries, nothing that a potion could not heal, they cleared the dungeon successfully.
Everyone went past level 10 and gained the function to teleport to the World of Belkris, which could also be described as the main server for them in this Infinite Breaker Online.
World of Belkris was basically one server, which was connected to more than one planet. Right now, Earth and other planets are in their own Beta Belkris world, but after a week, all will share the same world. The same NPCs in the parallel World of Belkris would synchronize their experience and interactions.

The normal dungeon gave good rewards, but not good enough for Axir.
Aside from some equipment and material drops from the monsters, the dungeon clearing reward was as follows:
—> 200 Gold.
—> Equipment Set: Furious Monkey Set (Tier-2|Rare).
—> Accessory: Fireloom Ring (Tier-2|Uncommon).
—> Random card (1-star — 2-star).
"So how are we going to distribute this?" Jason asked.
"I’ll make this quick since we don’t need to waste time over this." Axir looked at Yuta. "Furious Monkey Set is yours since it has daggers as weapons."
"Selena and Lexi both have one Fire-based card, but Selena already got some stuff, so Lexi can take Fireloom Ring."
"As for the Random Card, you can take it, Jason. Let’s see what you get."
"I wanted the card, but whatever. This is fine, I suppose." Yuta looked at Jason and grinned. "Alright, bud. Let’s see your luck."
Jason grabbed the blank card and infused 1 Mana in it to trigger it according to instructions.
The card shone and turned into a 1-star card.

Cost: none.
Effect(Toggle):
—> You can set a smell in this card from any perfume. Upon toggling on this card, all kinds of bad and unbearble smell will turn into the set smell.
"Hahaha, what a useless card." Kazuo burst into laughter.
"Tsk." Jason clicked his tongue.
"Well, it’s not that useless. If someone farts, you can toggle this one, haha." Yuta laughed.
However, Axir’s eyes glinted. This card was not useless. Not at all.
"Jason, if you don’t want that card, I can sell it at a good price."
"Really? In that case, take it." Jason gave the card to Axir.
"Here, I’ll give you in advance. Fifty gold." Axir transferred 50 gold to Jason.
Generally, this 1-star card was useless, like many others.
However, they were actually very useful in certain situations.
And Axir knew one such place where this card was absolutely necessary. The nearest use of this card was in a level 50 elite area he knew of in the Suryax Kingdom, and there were more areas where this card was useful or absolutely necessary.
Some of them smelled so bad that they gave debuffs to players. Some dangerous, some annoying.
Some of the monsters also used smell-induced magic, so this card basically nullified them, making it easier to kill them.
When players found such areas and found out that this 1-star card was godly for them, the price of this card skyrocketed. They were sold for thousands of gold coins.
"Now then, it’s time to use the teleport function and enter the main world." Selena smiled. "Let’s go."
Everyone used teleport and saw a large map of the World of Belkris.
[ Aoi: Eh? We have to pick a place. ]
[ Selena: These are all kingdoms. ]
[ Jason: That makes sense. This is already an established world with kingdoms and factions. But since this game is so magical, I think player influence will play a big part in shaping this world. ]
[ Yuta: Crap, I am excited! So where are we going? There are a hundred-fucking-kingdoms to choose from. ]
[ Lexi: I like this coastal Kingdom in the south. Bet it’s beautiful. ]
[ Kazuo: Wait, there are also empires! The kingdoms are under them, but it seems we can’t choose the empires. We’ll have to start from one of the kingdoms and rise, I guess. ]
[ Selena: Axir, what should we choose? ]
Axir was familiar with almost entirity of Belkris World, but right now, he was dumbfounded.
’What the hell is going on? Things are...different?’ Axir frowned as he looked at the map.
The entire geological map was different!
He was familiar with some kingdoms, but he also saw many completely new ones.
’This is fucked up. Fortunately, the place I want to go didn’t get replaced.’
[ Axir: Let’s choose the Suryax Kingdom in the southeast. They have one of the best locations geographically. They are connected to the sea in the south and have massive rivers going through the continent from the north and west, so they must have routes. They are also defended properly by nature. ]
[ Selena: Alright. ]
And so, all of them vanished and arrived in the Suryax Kingdom’s capital city’s central plaza.
Right after they arrived, everything froze.
The entire world of Belkris, as well as Earth, froze in space and time.
[ Player Ace. You have triggered the Ultra Unique Event that is only triggered once in this world of Belkris already. The World of Belkris is 50% different from what it was before the Abyss of Desire event triggered. Godfall Abyss is stirred awake. ]
As Axir got this notification, everything resumed again.
’So that’s why the geography of this world looked different...’ Axir’s eyes glinted. ’Interesting.’
But this wasn’t going to stop his rise to supremacy.
"Alright, people. I think the first thing we should do is to explore this city, so let’s split up and look around. If you find something interesting or trigger a quest, contact others."
"Sounds good."
"Let’s go!"
And so, everyone split up and went solo to explore the city on different paths.
Naturally, Axir already knew where to go and what to do.
The first in the list was acquiring a powerful deck!
