"Of course they are good. Technology nowadays is advanced and the products produced are aimed at sustainability and durability. So, the materials produced also have a guarantee of at least fifty years.
Even though in the apocalypse that guarantee may reduce to thirty or forty years, such materials are still useful." Chu Hao explained as he knew a few things about construction materials since he had accompanied his father for a few years doing business.
"The guarantee could also be extended using special methods. Those houses could last as long as any other house.

It’s better to rely on oneself." He explained his reasoning.
"It’s such a pity that the apocalypse has just started and the government is already dysfunctional. The people who will suffer the most are those still waiting for the government to rescue them.
Most people should have already run out of the supplies they were urged by the government to buy. Once the few supplies they received from the military run out, they will be in trouble if they still haven’t started training to kill zombies." Chu Miao commented again.
She was worried that humanity would lose another wave of survivors with this rain.
If things happen the way they usually happen in apocalypse novels, then the rain will continue for a while longer and probably flood the buildings, drowning some people and preventing others from going to search for supplies.
This situation made her heart heavy.
"We can save those we can and leave the rest to fate. We cannot save everyone. Moreover, some people might not need saving. If someone at this time still hasn’t come to their senses and understands that this is the end of the world then something is wrong with them.

He was a soldier and his training had taught him not to leave a man behind, but in a situation where one person could cause ten to perish, he would abandon that person within a heartbeat.

"We are here." Chu Hao said as he parked the car outside a factory gate.
The gate was locked and some grunting sounds could be heard from inside the gate.
Chu Miao uses her divine sense to scan the area inside and soon understands the layout and how many zombies were inside.
After breaking through to the Qi level four, her divine sense had expanded significantly and could cover an area of one kilometer radius.

They had already gotten out of the car and killed the few scattered zombies outside the gate.
It looked like many people either didn’t come to work the day the zombie virus erupted, or they had managed to escape in time.
Chu Hao understood that his sister must have used one of her mysterious ways to determine the situation inside, but Ye Xuan was shocked again.
He realized that as he spent more time with Chu Miao, he discovered a different side of her every time.
She was like a little treasure box and he wanted to open it and uncover what other surprises were hidden inside.
He looked at her with a doting smile in his eyes,but didn’t ask or question her statement.
"Let’s open the gate and kill those zombies first then." He said as he walked towards the door.
Chu Hao placed the humvee in his space and followed after his sister who was walking behind Ye Xuan.
Ye Xuan used lightning to burn the lock and slowly pushed the gate. He erected a lightning shield in front of him to prevent a zombie from ambushing him and causing a scratch.
As soon as the gate opened several zombies lunged forward and attacked them but they were incinerated by the lightning shield.
The zombies inside the factory grounds had already smelled the vitality of living humans and we’re swamping towards the three like moths to a flame.
Zombies could not resist the temptation of eating a meal out of living humans and as these ones had been locked in here since the virus spread without a source of food, they were starving and ignored any danger as they attacked.
