Victor led the charge, his steps crunching over blackened ground littered with splintered bones and rotting flesh. He swung his cleaver with brutal force, the impact tearing through one more of the titan’s bone limbs.
Sickly green marrow sprayed out, hissing as it burned holes into the earth.
Sparks of green light flared across the blade of the Ichorcleaver showing how his weapon’s skill gnawed at the creature’s bone density, softening the bones that should have been much stronger.
Ethan and Ryan flanked him, their movements sharp and fast after leveling up several times.
Ethan’s attacks hammered at the titan’s exposed joints and shook loose fragments of bone.
Ryan moved between debris, cutting through a snapping spine that looks like a hook that lunged to impale Victor from behind.
"Come to the left! Take out its arm, it’s almost broken now!" Victor shouted, his voice sounded harsh over the thunder of battle.
Sam moved there first. The young girl pushed through her fear and she finally managed to move even without Nadine or anyone pushing her.
Daniel rushed in behind Sam and arrived not far beside her. His weapon gripped tightly as he swung with all his strength.
The impact echoed through the battlefield, cracking the titan’s already weakened left arm.
Sam followed through without hesitation. Her hands trembling as her weapon hit the same spot.
Chunks of brittle bone shattered apart, scattering across the blackened ground.
Victor noticed their coordinated strikes and chose to charge toward the other side while slashing his weapons.
His movements were heavy but still pretty fast, every swing of the Ichorcleaver leaving deep grooves across the monster’s body. The blade’s green veins pulsed brighter with each impact, eating away at the bone.
The titan’s glowing eyes narrowed on him. It had decided that Victor was the main threat. The creature turned its massive body, ignoring the others who were attacking it from every angle.
Victor smirked. That was exactly what he wanted.
"Come on! Try me, you bastard!" he shouted, raising his cleaver high as the weapon’s green light flared.
The titan roared in fury. Its fractured arms lifted above its head before slamming down with enough force to shake the entire field.
Daniel and Sam jumped back to retreat from the movements.
Shards of bone exploded from the impact point.
Victor moved at the last second, rolling aside as the ground cracked open beneath him. Dust and splinters flew everywhere.
Before the creature could lift its arm again Victor charged back. His cleaver ignited with green light as he brought it down in a brutal arc.
CRACK!
The weapon carved through the titan’s arm, splitting the thick bone halfway down.
Splinters erupted from the wound, raining across the field. The monster let out a deafening scream of pain that shook the ground and bone spines.
Ethan, Daniel, Sam, and Ryan reacted instantly. They surged forward in unison, their attacks growing faster and more ruthless.
Ethan’s blows targeted the joints, forcing the titan’s movements to falter. Daniel’s strikes sent shockwaves through its legs, cracking the bone supports beneath its massive frame. Sam unleashed another flurry of stabbing to chip away the fragments clinging to its legs.
Ryan weaved through the chaos like a shadow, his weapons slashing at the exposed tendons that bound the titan’s knees together.
The creature tried to defend itself from Victor but its limbs no longer obeyed. Each hit landed harder than the last and soon the great titan began to crumble under the relentless assault.
Its arms fell first, snapping at the joints with a thunderous crack. Then its ribs split apart, fragments bursting outward as the core beneath flickered wildly.
Its legs followed next, collapsing one after another until the once-towering monstrosity was reduced to a kneeling ruin.
Victor stood at the front, breathing heavily, the glow from his cleaver dimming as the titan’s body gave out completely.
The monstrous frame finally toppled, slamming into the earth with an echoing thud that marked the end of its strength.
"Find its core now!" Suddenly Myles’ voice cut through the settling dust, sharp and commanding.
Victor snapped his head up at the sound. He didn’t hesitate. He had seen how Myles killed the previous titan. How everything ended the moment that glowing dark blue was destroyed.
Without a word, he sprinted forward. His eyes swept the debris, searching through the mess of ribs and cracked spine until he saw an eerie glow pulsing faintly beneath the rubble.
The dark-blue flame flickered violently like it was trying to escape.
"There you are," Victor muttered, his breath ragged.
He leapt onto the fallen remains, climbing the uneven pile of bones. The Ichorcleaver’s veins flared green again as if reacting to the chaotic energy pulsing in the air.
He raised the blade high and feeling his muscles screaming from exhaustion, and then brought it down in one brutal swing.
The cleaver connected with the core.
CRACK!
The sound echoed through the battlefield like thunder.
The core split open and released a burst of blue fire that twisted and lashed outward before shattering into shards of dying light.
The shockwave pushed Victor back, but he stayed on his feet, his cleaver still embedded in the ground.
The last remnants of the titan’s body convulsed once, then fell completely still.
The burning blue veins across its bones dimmed and vanished, leaving only the dull color of death behind.
Silence settled for a brief moment. Then the familiar flicker of holographic text appeared in front of their eyes.

Ryan sat down on a cracked bone, wiping sweat and ichor from his face. "I thought that thing would never die."
Sam leaned on her weapon, her hands trembling, her eyes still locked on the crater where the titan’s core had been.
Victor turned his gaze toward the fog in the distance, where the faint blue glow of the giant’s lanterns still pulsed steady and patient, as if watching them.
"It’s not over yet," he said quietly. "That light’s still moving."
The others followed his gaze, the chill creeping back into their bones. Even after three titans had fallen, something in this strange grave still breathed and waited for them.
