"But that would have made you feel bad?" Lei Qian remarked as if it made all the sense in the world and that only made Bai Meiyue even more speechless. She pursed her lips and scoffed.
"You don't need to worry about that," she stated with a cold voice. "I can take care of my own matters, so you better pay attention to your own safety."
After speaking, she turned on her feet and walked away without looking back. However, she had hardly taken more than five steps when the man behind her called her and asked, "Then does it mean that you are worried about me?"
As soon as Lei Qian finished speaking, Bai Meiyue let out a puff of disbelief. She didn't even bother to look back at him as she headed upstairs and disappeared in her own room.
Lei Qian watched her leave and pursed his lips.
"Humph, some people really don't know their own weight at certain times," Bai Jixuan commented as he looked at the man who was staring at his sister with a nearly obsessed look.
Though Bai Jixuan didn't show any discourtesy to Lei Qian as the man was troubled due to their own affairs, it didn't stop him from scolding Lei Qian.
"I think she is going soft on me though." Lei Qian knew that it was probably going to piss Bai Jixuan off but he still teased the man. "Look, she even bandaged my wounds; don't you think she is getting close to me?"
On the other side, at the small penthouse that belonged to the Bai family, Bai Feng was walking with unhurried steps towards the entrance door. Behind him was Bai Xue, who was taking three steps at a time to catch up to Bai Feng. She called out to Bai Feng and shouted, "Brother Feng, are you really not going to do anything?"

Sister Yueyue was bullied by that man and because of that, she ended up getting provoked! I do admit that I have wronged her many times but I cannot watch such a thing happen."
She paused and added, "If it makes Sister Yueyue feel better, then I am willing to step back and let her get involved with Brother Hu."
As soon as she finished speaking her eyes turned red. But at the same time, Bai Xue thought that she was really smart. As long as Bai Meiyue was won over by Su Hu, then not only could she take advantage of her water ability but she could also win over Lei Qian.
