"What!?" Third Uncle Ni, squeaked nervously. He really didn't expect that the woman was actually that crazy Bai everyone was talking about. When he arrived in this building, he did hear a few people discussing this woman called crazy Bai and he imagined an old woman with a foul temper.
Who would have thought that it was such a pretty woman with such a seductive charm? He couldn't believe it!
"Are you speaking the truth?" Third Uncle Ni asked with a frown on his face. It wasn't that he didn't want to believe it; it was just that Bai Meiyue was too pretty for him to think that the woman was truly crazy.
When Ni Baoguo heard the words of his uncle, he smiled mockingly and said to him, "If you don't believe it, then you can go ahead and fight with her. But if you end up getting your arm or feet chopped, don't blame me. Alright?"

Lei Qian hummed. He drove towards the southern district and then said to Bai Meiyue and the rest, "There must be many supplies where we are going. Make sure that you all pack some warm clothes and take them with you."
Bai Meiyue didn't say anything. Unlike the others, she was carrying a portable heater that she had exchanged from the blue star, barter patron. Thus, she didn't feel any cold. Instead, she was quite warm.
What was more, with Lei Qian sitting right next to her, it was impossible for her to feel cold at all. The man was a portable heater himself!
Bai Meiyue felt quite peaceful when she took the man beside her as an object rather than a human being.
Lei Qian had no idea that he was being taken as a portable heater. He drove to the southern district, where Bai Meiyue and the rest climbed down. But as soon as they stepped down, they realised that there was something amiss.
The abandoned houses, which should have been filled with silence, was bustling with activities. Seeing this Bai Meiyue pulled Lei Qian and the rest along with her to the back, where they ran into Xiao Wu and his little team of thugs.
"Boss!" Xiao Wu's eyes lit up when he saw Bai Meiyue. "What are you doing here? Did you also hear about a rich woman coming to live here?"
Suddenly, Bai Meiyue felt her memory getting refreshed once again. She blinked her eyes and then questioned, "What's the name of this woman?"
Sure enough, it was her!

"We came to steal—" Little Baozi replied but just as he finished speaking, Xiao Wu elbowed him in the stomach and said to Bai Meiyue, "It's nothing. We just heard that this woman brought a lot of supplies with her and we just wanted to take a look at where she got these many supplies. If we can grab hold of her channels, then maybe we can take the supplies for ourselves."
Bai Meiyue hummed when she heard his reply. She then said to him, "Did anyone in your team awaken as an ability user?"
"No," Xiao Wu shook his head with a mocking smile on his lips. "None of us awakened as an ability user, which is why we brought these with us." He showed the gun in his hands to Bai Meiyue who pursed her lips.
"This is not good enough," she said as she turned around and walked towards the SUV. Standing behind the tree, she used it as a shield and pulled out a few modified guns and bombs from her space pocket before handing them to Xiao Wu and the rest. "Since you want to steal, then you might as well do it with a bang."
Xiao Wu and the rest: "..."
