Bai Meiyue simply smiled without saying anything. Payback? Of course this woman had to pay her back for the risks that she was going to take because of her. But of course, Bai Meiyue was not foolish enough to ask for it right away. She glanced at the weak ability that was yet to get strong within Shen Lulu and pursed her lips.
Sooner or later the two of them would run into one another and then this woman would have to repay the grace that she had shown her today.
Once Shen Lulu was gone, Bai Meiyue used her skill to take on her appearance and knelt down on the floor just how Shen Lulu was kneeling a few minutes ago. A good thing too, because the second she knelt, the door of the warehouse opened and the man who stood outside as a guard stepped inside.
He glanced at the woman kneeling on the floor and questioned, "Is she the one?"
"I think she is the one." The guard behind him nodded as the two of them walked over and caught Bai Meiyue. They pulled her up from the floor and then dragged her out of the warehouse.
Seeing that the woman was not resisting, the two guards thought that she had accepted her fate. Thus, they lowered their guards.
When Lei Qian saw that Bai Meiyue was being dragged out of the warehouse, he immediately followed suit. He didn't even look at Shen Lulu, who was staring at him point-blank.
Before Shen Lulu could finish speaking Lei Qian had already turned on his feet and rushed after Bai Meiyue. He didn't even take a glance at the woman who was calling him.
When Shen Lulu saw Lei Qian running away, she couldn't help but sigh. What a shame. She finally met with her idol but she couldn't even talk with him. Though Shen Lulu felt a bit regretful, she still knew what was more important.
With the help of her hands, she pushed herself off the ground and then ran away from the warehouse. Now that she had regained her freedom, Shen Lulu didn't want to be dragged down by anything or anyone.
She turned on her feet and scrambled away.
On the other hand, Bai Meiyue was dragged to a small room at the further end of the courtyard. She arched a brow when she saw the man inside the room and her lips curled up in a sadistic smile.
So, they finally met again.
Bai Meiyue remembered this man. Though the two of them never crossed paths, she had heard of this man. After all, Master Su was a well-known patron of Murong Yue and Bai Meiyue who was caught by that woman after she was almost pushed in the pit by the Bai family—heard a lot about him.
This man was not only a pervert who liked to sleep with men and women, he also caught venereal diseases and liked to pass them on. And sometimes when he got carried away, he would even kill the person he spent the night with.
He was ruthless, greedy and a beast in human clothing.
She pursed her lips as the guards dropped her arms and said to Master Su, "Here she is. Just like you asked Master Su. She is barely eighteen and very tender. A pure, little young girl, waiting to become your woman."
Master Su licked his lips when he heard the words of the guards.
He said to the two men, "You can go now. Tell Madam Murong that I will make sure to remember this favour."
The two guards looked at one another before nodding and taking their leave.
Once the two men walked away, Master Su walked over with his hands rubbing against one another. He smiled greasily at Bai Meiyue and said to him, "Little beauty. Don't worry, I will treat you really well."
As he spoke he reached out to grab hold of Bai Meiyue's bosom; seeing this Lei Qian was about to burn the man to death, but before he could do it, Bai Meiyue reached out and held the hand of the man.
Master Su didn't understand what the woman in front of him was trying to do. He blinked his eyes before smiling at Bai Meiyue. He said to her, "It seems like you want to make the first move?"
Bai Meiyue nodded as she leaned in closer.
Seeing this, Lei Qian's heart jumped to his throat. What was Bai Meiyue doing? Why was she leaning in close to the man!?
But just as he raised his foot to kick open the windowpane, he saw the man's smile stiffen. A second later his entire body shifted as pieces of head, legs and feet scattered all over the floor. Blood sputtered all over the floor, tainting the clothes that Bai Meiyue was wearing.
He was wrong to worry about this woman. There was no way she could ever be in a dangerous situation.
"Why did you kill him?" Lei Qian pushed open the windowpane and looked at Bai Meiyue.
Hearing his question, Bai Meiyue raised her eyebrows and questioned, "Why? Do you feel sympathetic towards him?"
Lei Qian immediately shook his head and stated, "I could have done that for you. You didn't need to dirty your hands."
As he spoke he glanced at the man on the floor with a look of pure disdain on his face and said to Bai Meiyue, "I think that this man got an easy death. The things that he did, I believe that he deserved a death worse than this."
"He did," Bai Meiyue agreed. But then she turned to look at Lei Qian and said to him, "But we don't have the time to waste. If they catch us, then we will miss the bigger fish."
Lei Qian understood who this big fish was. He nodded and followed Bai Meiyue when the latter walked past him and jumped down from the window.
