Bai Meiyu was dazzled by the sight in front of her. She felt as if she was hallucinating but after rubbing her eyes two and three times, she realised that she was not!
However, it only took her a few seconds to recover from the shock that she had received. After all, if she could be reborn, there was nothing else in this world that could not happen.
She thought for a while before tapping on the Sturdy Mechanic's notification.
Seeing that he wanted to exchange fruits, she got to her feet and then walked over to the fridge in her kitchen. She looked around and finally found a big basket of apples, grapes and whatnot.
This was something that her father gave her when she was feeling a bit sick on the set. Back then Bai Meiyu thought that her father was truly nice as he cared for her. It was only now did she realise that her father only wanted to soften her up before sending her to the bed of one of his investors.
As she was not going to eat these fruits, Bai Meiyu decided to use them as an experiment.
She walked over to the couch and tapped on the messaging section before sending Sturdy Mechanic a message.
"Do you still want to exchange fruits?" Bai Meiyu asked.
The other person immediately sent a reply back, "Yes!"
Seeing that he was willing to exchange the fruits, Bai Meiyu tapped on the screen and agreed to the barter exchange.
As soon as she tapped on the screen, there was another ding followed by an announcement.
[Barter exchange has started.]
A second later, Bai Meiyu felt the room around her slip away, and she was sitting in a pale blue room covered in mist.
The entire room, including the table and the chairs, was blue, and in front of her sat a man with a smile on his face.
"Hi? Are you Little Bai from Zombie Plane?" Sturdy mechanic questioned; he was a young man with dimples on his cheeks. So when he smiled, he looked even younger.
'The name was already chosen?' Bai Meiyu thought before nodding. She replied, "That's right." She then went straight to the point and placed the fruit basket on the table before saying, "Here. I have brought the fruits that you wanted; what do you have in exchange?"
"Ah, yes... yes," the boy was a bit surprised when he saw that Bai Meiyu had not taken the initiative to talk with him. He blinked his eyes and then placed a small box on the table before replying, "I brought Dual Fly Monitors."
Good stuff! Bai Meiyue thought at once when she looked at the Dual Fly monitors that Sturdy Mechanic had placed in front of her. The flies were so exquisitely created that they looked almost real. If she did not know that these things were monitors, Bai Meiyue would have thought that they were alive.
"You can use them to record and surveillance anything or anyone." Seeing that Bai Meiyue was hooked by the Dual Fly Monitors, Sturdy Mechanic started to boast about the uses of these monitors. "I am actually selling them for a rather cheap price because the prices of fruit on my planet have increased. If not, I would have definitely sold them so easily."
He was not lying; these things were indeed quite expensive, but the great ancestor in his home wanted to eat fruits. She refused to even touch anything that he bought for her, saying that if she didn't get to eat fruits, then she would take their child back to her mother's.
As her husband, he could certainly not let such a thing happen, so Sturdy Mechanic had no other choice but to sell these monitors.
"Can I use these in my world?" Bai Meiyue asked as she knew that Sturdy Mechanic was certainly not from the world where she lived, and neither were the rest of the people who were connected to the barter exchange system.
Which brought another trouble to her.
Whether these things would work in her world or not! If not, then these things were a waste to her.
The man blinked his eyes before smiling, "It seems like you don't know. No matter what you get in exchange from the barter system, as long as it is received through this channel, it will work."
When Bai Meiyue heard that these monitors would work just fine, her heart moved. She began to think about how to use these to her advantage. If these flies could really shoot anything that she wanted, maybe she would be able to collect enough evidence to throw those disgusting bastards under the bus.
She didn't want to kill them so easily, in the past life she was worried sick about finding her son and didn't have the time to play with them.
Thus, they got a swift and easy death. But this time around, Bai Meiyue wanted those bastards to go through everything that she had to when they ruined her life.

Once the barter exchange was successful, Bai Meiyue found herself sitting on the couch again. She raised her head and looked at the clock on the wall. To her surprise, not even a minute had passed by!
Bai Meiyue quickly placed the Dual Fly Monitors on the tea table and then opened the packaging. When she opened it, she was surprised to find an instruction manual inside the box. She picked up the manual and read through it.
These monitors could not only record videos, but they could also record voices. And that too at HD!
All she needed to do was install the GPS location and nothing else.
