As I entered the level of Impermanence, my Perception also underwent a qualitative change. In the past, I could only perceive the various changes in the Cause and Effect Domain when someone nearby exerted power related to causality, but now I could actively perceive it myself.
Yinyue’s ability to "turn illusions into reality" is essentially a modification of the "Action Skill" on the level of the "No-action Skill", which means modifying the material world from the level of abstract concepts like causality.
The world we live in, is it the material itself that is essential, or is there really a metaphysical essence behind the material controlling everything? This is the subject of debate between materialism and ontology. I don’t believe that just because Yinyue can do this, it means that the metaphysical domain is more fundamental than the material domain. It could also be that her power is based on this worldview, resulting in such absurd manifestations.
Even if it’s a wrong or even self-contradictory worldview, Mana will realize it. Hence, in the abnormal world, there actually is no objectively correct worldview. However, on this occasion, it is necessary for me to regard the abstract domains of causality and concept as the actual battlefield.
In that abstract domain, I saw Yinyue fleeing in panic. It’s hard to describe this scene in words. Although Yinyue disappeared from the visible world, her silhouette could still be seen in the abstract world. Here, there’s no concept of time or space, or even distance.
Yet she kept "moving away" from me.
This was because she was rapidly severing her connections with me, modifying the fact "I caught her" into "what was caught was merely an illusion" as her first step. She even intended to modify the historical fact of our meeting at Moon Concealing Mountain into something that never happened at all.
It’s like a middle school classmate moving and changing schools and then changing their phone number while not revealing their new address or school. Although there is no place to hide in the abstract world and no concept of distance, if she is allowed to do these things, she will completely disappear from the realm I can perceive.
In this dimension devoid of light and sound, I swiftly extended my arm. Just like what I did in the material world, my arm transformed into a fiery giant hand, unbelievably bursting into this symbolic domain and grasping the frenzied Yinyue.
In the material world, the fiery giant hand seemed to magically produce a strange girl in moon-white clothing from thin air, and it was Yinyue.
A look of terror appeared on her face, but she had not completely given up yet and immediately tilted her head back to emit a shriek. This sound is also indescribable because the pitch of her scream exceeded the frequency humans can hear. It looked as though she was just opening her mouth wide towards the night sky without producing any sound. Only ripples like shockwaves kept spreading, turning into wild winds sweeping around, and the ground also began to tremble. A very noticeable earthquake occurred in a radius of several kilometers centered on her.
This was the ripple caused by her Fatian Xiangdi. Of course, she certainly did not expect to stop me with just Fatian Xiangdi. What Impermanence and those qualified as Impermanence possess, is "natural authority." The nature’s elements willingly follow their will, manifesting changes that match their nature. Turning Moon Concealing Mountain and its surrounding regions into the chaotic Lost Magic Realm of disordered space-time, is exactly Yinyue’s Fatian Xiangdi. The quake right now is not the land trembling but the space-time itself shaking.
Gua Tianshi should now be in Moon Concealing Mountain Town containing the disaster, as for me, I had no intention of watching Yinyue use a brand new Killing Move. Yinyue is on the same level as the Water Navy Xuanwu, her understanding of the Illusion Technique rivals the historical Impermanence skilled at illusions, and I’m just the "rookie" who has just become Impermanence. Since Water Navy Xuanwu might have posed a threat to the current me, then the Killing Move that Yinyue is about to perform might also have a strong impact on me.
