In the past, on the eve of the raid on the Human Bureau Headquarters, when I asked Ming Zhuo why he was so surprised by the scenery in Mazao’s dream, Ming Zhuo gave me an intriguing answer—the architecture of the Evangelical Institute appearing in Mazao’s dream looked to Ming Zhuo like Luo Mountain from over a hundred years ago.
I had originally suspected that the Evangelical Institute might be a remnant force of Luo Mountain from the Doomsday Era. Although this suspicion was overturned upon discovering that this place was not in the Doomsday Era, it has returned at this moment in another form.
I grabbed this achieved realm cultivator’s head and asked via telepathy: "Can you tell me the details?"
Now, I can establish telepathic contact with others even without the Fake Water Moon. In fact, for most demon hunters who use soul power, telepathy is a common skill; the fact that I only learned to initiate it autonomously after becoming Impermanence is actually unusual.

The origin of the Evangelical Institute can be traced back to over a hundred years ago, during the period when Luo Mountain fully withdrew from the Post-mortem World.
Gua Tianshi’s past prophecy of "the impending destruction of the Post-mortem World" corresponds to the current event of the Post-mortem World being transformed into a Doomsday Era by the Naraku Gospel. Back then, the fate that awaited Luo Mountain in the Post-mortem World was unknown. If the entire Luo Mountain personnel did not evacuate, they would only be left anxiously awaiting the judgment of fate.
Even in such circumstances, many chose to remain in the Post-mortem World.
Though it may seem incomprehensible, with a deeper understanding of Luo Mountain culture, I am able to piece together why. Luo Mountain, in general, takes pride in moving freely between life and death, and worships the will that mysteriously resides in the Post-mortem World, known as the ailing Naraku’s Will. Consequently, after severing contact with the Post-mortem World, the emotional void led Ming Zhuo, once unwelcome, to suddenly have the most believers in Luo Mountain as Impermanence.
At that time, certainly many devotees chose to stay in the Post-mortem World to witness its destruction. Even some Impermanence figures made the decision to remain.
Is a mere "calamity capable of destroying the Post-mortem World" truly worthy of a panicked retreat? Some people surely think not, believing an event of similar scale could be managed by Impermanence with sufficient time. Furthermore, since Gua Tianshi predicted that "the disaster to destroy the Post-mortem World would eventually spill into the Living World," evacuation to the Living World might lack meaning, as they will inevitably face this catastrophe. Rather than that, it would be better to quell it in the Post-mortem World.
Thus, at the time, three Impermanence figures led their followers to stay in the Post-mortem World: Yama, Tai Sui, and Huang Quan... Though it is unclear why the cautious Huang Quan, known for prudence, also chose to stay and confront the disaster, he did just that.
Those who remained claimed to be the orthodox of Luo Mountain and prepared to face the disaster. Initially, nothing happened in the Post-mortem World, only for some reason it completely lost contact with the Living World, and no interchange was possible. For a long time, some even suspected external Luo Mountain forces deliberately destroyed the portal connecting the two worlds. They tried countless methods but could not reestablish passage to the Living World, and so they spent the ages.
The exact duration is unclear; even in the period before the Doomsday, time in the Post-mortem World was not as clear as in the Living World. This world lacks the cycle of sunrise and sunset, and as a spiritual realm, many aspects are not as precisely regimented as in the material world.
Then one day, the Post-mortem World suddenly transformed, becoming like a world after the destruction of human civilization. Naraku’s Will was also replaced, becoming the Naraku Gospel.
The resident forces of this period underwent numerous significant changes. Fragmented time and space, prevalent doomsday anomalies, omnipresent Frenzy, and other horrific phenomena caused the follower groups of the three human gods to suffer major losses. Those who survived gradually lost their memories, forgetting even the crucial fact that "this space-time is the Post-mortem World," let alone claiming to be the orthodox of Luo Mountain.
The achieved realm cultivator I captured was quite a veteran "senior figure," having survived over a century. His exceptional cultivation is the basis of his survival, and his past knowledge is the reason he can now serve as an upper echelon in the Evangelical Institute. Even so, he has forgotten most of the events and details of the past, remembering only a vague outline.
Through unknown methods, Yama engaged in unknown negotiations with the Naraku Gospel, and upon returning, he changed the force’s name to "Evangelical Institute." Important items such as "blessings," which help the common monk community establish themselves in the Doomsday Era, began to appear in large quantities during that period. The Evangelical Institute was able to reestablish itself as an organized force in the Post-mortem World.
