Julia Stewart pursed her lips, "Don’t you want to?"
Lionel Yeager grinned, "I just thought you might find it inconvenient."
Julia rolled her eyes at Lionel. "What’s inconvenient about it? We’re already engaged. It would be strange if we don’t sleep together."
Lionel nodded, "In that case, you sleep in the bedroom, and I’ll sleep in the living room for these few days."
Hearing Lionel’s words, Julia’s eyes instantly turned red.
She looked up at Lionel. "Do you dislike me that much?"
"No, why would you think that?"
Lionel was suddenly confused.
Julia sniffed. "Why are you so reluctant to be with me, even preferring to sleep on the sofa instead of sharing the bed with me?"
Lionel was helpless. "Like I said earlier, I’m only worried you might find it inconvenient."
Tears streamed down Julia’s face as she choked up. "I know I was not good to you before. I always doubted and mistrusted you.
I realize you’ve been silently protecting and guarding me with your great abilities.
Yet, I haven’t been a qualified wife. However, I’ve been trying to change myself gradually.
I’ll strive to be better to be worthy of you.
So, can you forget the past me and not hate me..."
If it was before, she would never say such things to any man.
But after being with Lionel for a few months, she gradually discovered that everything Lionel did was for her own good.
She also realized that Lionel’s abilities were truly immense, to the point where she felt inferior.

Everyone is an independent individual, and they all have the right to pursue love. We shouldn’t have to compromise ourselves for others.

Julia pounded on Lionel’s chest, crying incessantly, and angrily said, "I hate you so much. You’re making me lose myself!"
Lionel laughed heartily. "The number one beauty and President of River City is actually crying. Aren’t you ashamed?"
"Hmph, what shame! You’re the one who’s annoying!"
Julia pushed Lionel away. "I’m going to take a shower!"
She grabbed her change of clothes and went into the bathroom.
Lionel sat on the bed, letting out a long sigh.
He knew that she must have wanted to share these feelings with him for a while but didn’t have the opportunity.
Now that they were alone in a foreign land, she finally opened her heart to him.
Truth be told, he felt quite indebted to Julia as well.
After all, she was his fiancé, yet he had other women by his side.
It wasn’t easy for Julia to accept him as he was.
Unsure of how to make it up to her, he simply did his best to treat her well.
After nearly an hour, Julia finally came out of the bathroom.
She donned a black silk nightdress that perfectly accentuated her curvaceous figure.
Her long jade arms and perfectly straight legs shone under the lamplight with a lustrous, fair sheen.
Perhaps it was because she had just taken a bath, but her skin had a slight pink hue, radiating an extraordinary charm.
As she was drying her hair, Julia noticed Lionel staring at her intently and her cheeks turned even redder.
She feigned anger. "What are you looking at? Your eyeballs are about to fall out!"
Lionel replied seriously, "What’s wrong with looking at my fiancé? Is it against the law now?"
Julia Stewart said annoyedly, "Stop being cheeky, just help me dry my hair!"
Lionel Yeager grinned and then followed Julia Stewart into the bathroom.
Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, Lionel took the hairdryer and carefully started to dry the woman’s hair.
Feeling the man’s large hand running through her hair, Julia’s delicate body trembled slightly.
But before long, she relaxed and enjoyed the warmth.
She felt that she and the man were like a married couple who had been living together for many years.
Julia looked at the man in the mirror and softly asked, "Lionel, is this the first time you’ve dried my hair?"
Julia bit her lip and asked, "Can you dry my hair for the rest of my life?"
Lionel paused for a moment, then nodded and gave a definite answer.
Julia asked again, "We’ll never be apart for the rest of our lives, right?"
Lionel said with a smile, "Of course, we’ll never be apart!"
Julia said, "I’m worried that one day we’ll be separated.
After all, you have too many enemies. Every time you leave, I worry that you won’t come back."
Lionel said firmly, "Don’t worry, even if there are many enemies, I will crush them all under my feet!
And, no matter where I go or how long I leave, I will always come back to you!"
Julia pouted and said, "You said it! You can’t go back on your word!"
Lionel replied confidently, "I’ll never go back on my word!"
A dozen minutes later.
Lionel said, "All done, see if it’s okay."
Julia touched her hair, and playfully smiled, "Tony Teacher, not bad, well done!"
"Ah, you still dare to tease me!"
Lionel reached out directly, and lightly patted the woman’s back.
Julia quickly moved away, covering her back, her cheeks turning beet red, "Go take your bath, I’m leaving!"
With that, Julia rushed out of the bathroom like a startled rabbit, even closing the door behind her.
Lionel chuckled, pinched his hand, and muttered, "Hmm, felt good."
Afterward, Lionel took out a change of clothes from the storage ring and took a shower.
Stepping out of the bathroom, he saw the woman with her back facing him, lying down.
Lionel turned off the lights, climbed into bed quietly, pulled the blanket and laid down next to the woman.
Before she could react, Lionel reached out and hugged her from behind.
Julia’s delicate body tensed up, but she didn’t break free from Lionel.
The entire room suddenly became quiet.
Quiet enough to hear the sound of their breathing.
Seeing that the woman didn’t push him away,
Lionel’s courage grew, and his hand slowly moved downward.
But halfway there, Julia grabbed his hand.
"Lionel... I’m not ready yet... Can you wait a little longer?"
The woman’s voice trembled, clearly showing that she was nervous and not ready.
Lionel complied, and his hand finally behaved.
Only then did Julia breathe a sigh of relief, and then asked, "Lionel, did you destroy the Ten Thousand Swords Gate in the Ancient Martial World?"
Lionel was surprised, "How did you know?"
