Ascension of Chaos Novel

In "Ascension of Chaos" by WolfShine, a global upheaval occurs as a Primordial System implants itself into everyone's consciousness, projecting strange interfaces into their vision. Humanity is thrust into a tutorial before facing a universe-wide System Event. Upon returning, Ashley discovers her world irrevocably altered, overrun by Gates to monster-infested domains, many of which have already unleashed their creatures. She learns that the unique abilities defining human society are merely the first skills in extensive Skill Trees. Ashley, however, awakens with amnesia, remembering little beyond basic common knowledge from before the tutorial. Her situation changes upon discovering the bloodline bestowed by a primordial entity and her own unique Skill Tree. It contains a single skill: the ability to assimilate the Skill Trees of those she kills, unlocking them using Skill Points. This power allows her to grow by absorbing the skills of others. The novel features Skill Trees, a LitRPG apocalypse, livestreamed dungeons and battles, and chaotic magic. The protagonist starts weak, gradually gaining strength and memories as she assimilates more skills. Romance, harems, or a strong starting protagonist are not features of this story.
