The door to Knox's room suddenly slammed open, startling him slightly. If not for the fact that he had left his deep state of cultivation for a few moments, he could have received some very serious backlash damage.
His brows furrowed in mild anger, yet just as he was about to lash out at whoever was rude enough to barge in like that, a heavenly feminine voice cut through the air:
"Look, darling, it took me half a month, but I finally convinced my father to give me the |Mystical Body Tempering Pill|!" Cela said with glee as she rushed over to him and cupped his hands with hers. "See, see!? Although I had to kneel outside my father's shrine for half a month without moving, I'd do it again if it were for you! Now you can break off your engagement with that wench and marry me instead! Look, here's my dowry for you!"
The mentally unstable pink-haired girl took a round, glistening pill out of her Spatial Ring. She presented it to Knox with a face that emulated a degree of joy he couldn't even begin to comprehend.
Why was this lass even so obsessed with him to begin with?
If what she said was true, then she must already be beyond the point of simple infatuation. However, for the life of him, he couldn't recall when exactly she became like this.
There was this one time when Knox became ill and was sent to the same hospital ward as she was. She had gotten very sick far away from home and was thus sent to the one he was in—which belonged to his family.
At first, he talked to her out of boredom, but seeing as how cold and emotionless she was back then, he didn't even receive so much as a nod. She ignored him like he didn't even exist, and it stayed that way for days.
But eventually, she did start to talk. What she said couldn't in any way be interpreted as nice things, but for some reason, finally seeing her open up sparked the competitive spirit in Knox. And from that day onward, he took it as a personal challenge to get Cela to absolutely adore him.
It took months and a bit of pretending to be sick even after he got better, but ultimately, he got her to sing praises of him for hours on end—
'Oh, wait, sh*t… The creation of this insane chick is totally my fault, isn't it…?'
Unbeknownst to himself, his top-tier manipulative nature somehow made a little girl his #1 fan.

Before the Attribute Farming System, Knox believed himself to be the biggest douchebag to ever exist, but only after its appearance was he able to see Mt. Tai.
However, in spite of his patronizing thoughts, the Yandere was staring up into his eyes with spiraling heart-shaped pupils. To him, it looked like she wanted to tie him up and throw him into her basement.

"Well, well, pretty Miss Cela," Knox said in a tone far different from the way he spoke to her two weeks ago. "If I had known you were stopping by, I would've made proper accommodations. And this |Mystical Body Tempering Pill| that you speak of… well, why don't we discuss it over there?"
He pointed toward a large, circular table located in the eastern area of his huge, lavish room. He then subtly pulled his new Sugar Momma over to the table with just the right amount of touching. He used two fingers and placed them on a spot on her lower back, making contact with the fabric sitting over her spine.
This was a little trick he learned in his 71st Lifetime as the grandson of a wanton nightworker. Though, instead of this nightworker being his mother, it was his father—a man famed throughout the district for being the best at pleasing a woman.
Since he was a baby at the time, his father would often leave him in a crib to watch as he played with women like putty in his hands. It was incredibly impressive, to be honest.
"So, tell me, lovely Miss Cela," Knox said while covertly eyeing the glowing silver pill in her hands. "What can I do for you to take that heavy-looking pill off your hands?"
"Marry me!"
"...Anything else…?"
"Uhn-uh! Wait… Maybe a kiss…"
Liking the compromise, Knox turned his head to the side and tapped his cheek. "Go on, then," he said. "Kiss to your heart's content."
