Wang Zhengguo drove Uncle Xu and Aunt Xu directly to the cowshed, and warmly welcomed the personnel who escorted them, listening carefully to the arrangements for the elderly couple.

However, Guan Cheng gestured for Lu Tianjun to take the younger ones and Qingyun out to play, while he stayed behind. In a low voice, he detailed everything Lu’s father had done to Uncle Xu and Aunt Xu.
After hearing the shocking tale, the couple was deeply grateful.
"Dad, how could you be sure that Shen Feihong would help?" Feng Qingxue voiced the doubt she had been holding for a while.
Although she had interacted with Shen Feihong a couple of times, it was not enough to judge his character.
Lu’s father smiled faintly, "Filial piety is the foundation of all good deeds. A filial child won’t go astray very much. Besides, do you know what Shen Feihong does? He’s a speculator. People in this business often deal with all kinds of characters, including some of the less decent ones, indicating he doesn’t care so much about class divisions. With your uncle intervening, we didn’t ask him to labor in vain, he would naturally be willing to help."

They had previously assisted them with food and clothing, and now they saved their lives. They believed being banished to Wanglou Brigade was the greatest fortune they could have received, much safer than living in the city.
