Lu Jiang, holding Xibao, moved to the kang bed and looked straight into his daughter’s sparkling eyes.

Lu Jiang placated him with a soft voice: "Daddy knows you’re the baby, our family’s big baby. Can you let Daddy hold your sister for a bit? Daddy has never held her before, so she must feel sad."
Upon hearing this, Xibao frowned.
"No! No!" Xibao shook his head vigorously, and reasonably said: "Little sister is fat, a fat girl!"

Feng Qingxue handed Fubao to Lu Jiang and picked up Xibao.
She had trouble lifting him at first, so Feng Qingxue had him sit next to her, her arm wrapped around him to keep him still.
Lu Jiang, holding his daughter, had a soft gaze filled with not only affection but also visible sorrow. "Thank you, honey. I’m sorry. I wasn’t by your side to take care of you when Xibao and Fubao were born. You had to bear it all alone."
