She then turned to Old Song and instructed, "Old Song, please take charge here, I need to go back to the military region to inquire about news, Qiulan, you take care of collecting the money."

Cheng Su looked apologetically at Ying Xiaoya, who quickly said, "Don’t worry about me, I can walk on my own, and it’s a busy time, I will help you manage the restaurant. You should hurry back."
Grateful for the help, Cheng Su smiled, took off her apron, grabbed her bag, dashed out of the restaurant, and started pedaling her bicycle swiftly away.
It was not long before Cheng Su arrived at the military region, sweat-covered. After reporting in with the sentry, she was soon led to Regimental Commander Mai’s office.
"Regimental Commander Mai, hello, I am Qi Taiguo’s family member. I heard..." Cheng Su asked in a rush, her eyes gradually reddening.
Regimental Commander Mai walked over, guided her to sit on the sofa, and spoke reassuringly, "As Qi Taiguo’s family member, be assured, we are well-informed about the situation. For now, Commander Qi is not in a life-threatening condition."

"What exactly happened? What was he bitten by?" Cheng Su pressed eagerly for details.
"During the mission, he was trapped in the enemy’s cunning scheme. The wound has been promptly cleansed. Fortunately, our military doctor happened to be nearby, administered antibiotics, and he has since been taken to the hospital, receiving IV fluids. We believe that Commander Qi will soon regain consciousness. Don’t worry!" Regimental Commander Mai assured.
Upon hearing this, Cheng Su’s anxiety eased slightly, but she asked, "But Wan Dahe said he is still unconscious."
