"Right, don’t chase after her. Spoil her and she’ll become too full of herself—what will become of her in the future?" Mother Qi firmly stood by Qi Taiguo’s side, adding, "She’s a grown woman and she’s playing runaway from home? She’ll be back when it’s time. Taiguo, just head to the army!"
Qi Taiguo pursed his lips and nodded.
Seeing this, Qi Fenglian opened her mouth to speak, but Mother Qi pulled her back vigorously, silencing her with a look that said if you speak, you’re no daughter of mine.
