The ground shook, from afar he could see a cloud of dust rushing towards them. The anteater leader sent the others away and stood alone facing the approaching an army.
Before long they appeared, it was an army of ants much larger than before. Rank 2 ants numbered in hundreds, at the back of the army were 6 ants floating mid air.
Each one at rank 3 and obviously stronger than the previous one but the one who drew his attention the most was the largest ant behind them.
It was the size of an elephant with 4 transparent blue wings on it back. It mere presence exuded a suffocating aura. He felt as if he was dipped in acid just by it standing there.
Ofcourse this was merely an illusion caused by the difference in their power and will. Ved was certain this was a rank 4 ant. He had never seen a rank 4 creature but this unfamiliar oppressive aura cannot belong to a rank 3.
He couldn’t attribute it to a high grade bloodline either because he could sense it bloodline was the same grade as his. The army stood 6 kilometres away from the anteater.
He could see the anteater leader shaking, not that he could blame it, even he was forcing himself to not kneel. The aura of this ant was too terrifying.
Just as he was about to sneak away the anteater leader sucked in all the air in it immediate surroundings then shot a jet of compressed air at the ant queen. ’ Damnit, why did you do that?’ he cursed in his head.
One of the six ants stood infront of the queen and blocked the powerful jet of air. It was pushed back and it cerapace cracked but other than that it was relatively fine.
It was proof that it was much stronger than the last one. The antennas of the queen twitched, the ant army screeched and charged at the anteater.
It dug it claws and prepared for a fight, Ved was not having any of that.’ If you wanna die, why involve me?’. The moment the anteater attacked he knew it was time leave, he was not fighting alongside that suicidal stupid rat, he was pissed that it attacked before he could leave, couldn’t it wait?.
He turned around and just as he was about to sprint at full speed a gentle aura washed over him and pushed away the oppressive acidic aura.
It was followed by the smell of flowers and a rainy forest. An illusion of a lush green forest with singing birds appeared in his head. Click click, click, he heard the sound of clicking heels.
From the distance he saw a deer walking gracefully towards them, it steps were slow and measured yet it reached them in a blink of an eye. With each step grass grew on the barren battlefield.

Yet this one did, on it head were brown antlers that looked as if they were made of wood, few green leaves and beautiful flowers with different colours grew on them.
When it arrived the anteater family bowed their heads. It turned it head to look at him and he could feel his bloodline being suppressed, then it ignored him.
This deer was a rank 3 but it had the highest bloodline he had ever felt. He didn’t even know the name of that grade. The most impressive thing was that it aura could match that of the rank 4 ant queen.
The grass covered half of the battlefield but the ants did not stop with the arrival of this deer. Behind the deer arrived four other creatures.
A yak, a goat, an eagle and a porcupine. Each one a rank 3 with a powerful sky grade bloodline. The stood behind the deer obediently.
When the ants touched the grass they turned into dried husks almost immediately, the rank 2 were able to last a second before dying as well.
Whenever the ants died the grass would grow taller and stronger. The ant army did not stop, they were not capable of fear and without orders they would not stop.
But their leader was not smart enough to strategize, it was used to just sending large numbers of them and solve all their problems.
It didn’t take long for the entire army to perish, by now the grass was as tall as 3 metres, had it not been for his incredible eyesight he would see anything. It was only then that the ant queen sent it 6 guards. They flapped their wings and rose to the air.
The deer looked at it four subordinates behind it. The giant eagle stood up and bowed then stretched it 10 metres long golden wings and took to the skies, he was surprised, he thought they would fight together but apparently not.
It did not waste time, a golden haki covered it body, the ants shot a rain of acid bullets at it but the haki blocked all of them. However the ants did not use haki.
This confused him, he knew very well how much enhancement haki gives you. The ants has lower grade bloodlines and without haki they had no chance at winning this.
All of their attacks bounced off as he had expected. Then the eagle flapped it giant wings and flew up, it body streaked through the air like a golden ray of light, the ants followed.
It stopped at dozens of kilometres in the air then flapped it wings again. Hundreds of golden feathers made of energy appeared around it.
Then they grew to thousands. It cold eyes gazed at the six giant ants with indifference as if this battle was nothing but an insignificant chore to it.
With a flap of it huge wings the feathers fell from the sky like a rain of swords. The ants did their best to dodge but one of them was turned into a porcupine and died immediately with hundred of holes on it body.
The others did not go unscathed, seeing that did not kill them it flapped again and this time sent hundreds of golden crescent slashes which cut two of the ants into half immediately.
The bombardment did not stop, when it ended only one wounded ant was remaining and managed to reach the eagle. The eagle grabbed the ant with it talons and ripped it into two.
Seeing all of minions which were probably it children dead, the ant queen finally moved.
