Lake Spirit, standing by, was slightly taken aback. Such an item capable of instantaneously restoring life force was extremely rare and precious in its era.
How come it was being used like it didn’t cost a penny in the hands of this seemingly weak human?
"What is that heart? Is it an Evil God?"
As the Sword of the Undead sapped his life force, Chen Mo spoke to Lake Spirit.
"The Heart of Evil, the origin of all Evil Gods."
"The master wished to kill it but failed."
After a pause, she continued:
"Don’t draw it anymore. If you unleash the calamity, you will inherit the master’s karma. You can wait for your Spiritual Beast to advance to Totem Rank before you attempt it."
"Now that you have passed the master’s trial, you may receive a reward."
She spoke a rare long sentence.
If the so-called karma meant helping Emperor of Dead Bones get revenge, slay the throbbing giant heart, then Chen Mo would most likely ditch the sword and run for the hills.

As Da Yuan was about to fall, the Queen of Da Yuan, also the mother of Emperor of Dead Bones, ordered her Spiritual Beast, the Space-Splitting Divine Butterfly, to tear open a vast space rift, then moved the entire royal city into it, hoping for a chance of survival.
Yet during the space transmission, they were still attacked by Evil Gods.
The parents, elder brother of Emperor of Dead Bones, along with many of Da Yuan’s top Spirit Masters and their Spiritual Beasts, fought a desperate battle against the pursuing Evil Gods to protect the citizens of the royal city, but ultimately fell into spatial turmoil.
In the end, Emperor of Dead Bones, along with a few Spirit Masters, arrived at the land of Japan, a place teeming with the Undead System and Undead type spirit beasts.
After extensive exploration, they discovered that Japan was not a part of another world, but a fragment of the Spirit Realm!
It was only separated from their homeland by the Endless Sea!
Of course, to cross this sea, the Spiritual Beasts must reach Totem Rank.
So in order to return to their homeland, these people began to fervently cultivate and battle.
Many perished in this process, and Emperor of Dead Bones later revived them all as the Undead.
After more than 100 years, Emperor of Dead Bones’ Spiritual Beast advanced to Totem Rank, and he also conquered the entire land of Japan.
However, a Totem Rank Spiritual Beast could not save Da Yuan Country, his parents’ Spiritual Beasts were of Totem Rank, yet they were no match for the multitude of Evil Gods.
Hence, Emperor of Dead Bones gathered the strength of the whole island, embarking on a path of militaristic expansion.
Over 200 years later, Emperor of Dead Bones became a mythic Spirit Master.
He then led a vast Undead Army across the Endless Sea to embark on the return to his homeland.
Years later, when he returned to his homeland, he found Da Yuan Country thoroughly reduced to ruins, almost void of life except for the "Evil Servants", which could hardly be called living.
The Evil Gods, after their "feast", had returned to their Divine Countries or moved on to another place for another "feast".
Emperor of Dead Bones "killed" two Evil Gods left behind in charge of "cattle-herding" the Evil Servants and by reading their chaotic memories, learned about the existence of the "Heart of Evil".
The very source of all Evil Gods’ existence.
He decided to make war on the "Heart of Evil", and what followed were the scenes Chen Mo saw in the spiritual imagery.
After clashing with the "Heart of Evil", Emperor of Dead Bones’ Spiritual Beasts were heavily injured, suffering irreversible corruption and damage.
Realizing he could no longer cross the Endless Sea back to Da Yuan, Emperor of Dead Bones had no choice but to return to Japan.
In his final moments, he gave up on revenge and only wished that his remains would be buried in his homeland after his death.
Thus, he left behind each of his Spiritual Beasts’ legacies.
Hoping that a genius Spirit Master would emerge in Japan, someone who could take his remains back and reunite with the soil of Da Yuan Country.
Looking at Chen Mo, Lake Spirit felt an inexplicable sense of hope arise within her.
She seemed to foresee Chen Mo giving up, yet she faintly hoped he would draw the "calamity" out.
"Where is Da Yuan Country?"
He had never heard of this name, but that was to be expected.
